Wanted to ask a serious question I am very curious about. How much time do most of the EG players spend watching GSL and other big tournaments? You see MC and some of the other korean players watching GSL VODs whenever they attend foreign tournaments, so obviously they think it is important to keep up with the GSL. The main reason I ask is because there was a ton of blue flame hellion usage in this last GSL (though much of it was in TvT) and it seems the foreigners were very unprepared for it in general, EG included. Also on state of the game a lot of the time players are not caught up on GSL at all. This is NOT meant as a bash or arm-chair quarterbacking, I am just genuinely curious.

you lie in the bed you create. you talk a big game on sotg/itg and haven't done anything to back it up. You're a polarizing figure with your forum behavior and constant sob story apologies. People are going to love you or hate you when you take on that role. EG is the focal point of loldrama so you'll have to deal with it. There really isn't anything for you to say at this point, your words hold no more value. You have to perform.

Even though I'm not a fan of incontrol, I do hope things work out for EG's SC2 team. Like I've mentioned in other threads they were always one of my favorite teams and I've been around esports for a longgggggggggggg time. They've been a disappointment so far but I hope this house changes that.

yes, because the guy above is perfect reasonable in his concern (not hate or anything negative), he is just being a realist, also hes a fan of EG. So if you do say hes a dick, you will be the dick, and I hope you get banned.

Not sure whats up with the negativity in the thread? People are just jealous I guess. This should be something we support and aspire to if you are looking to be a pro gamer. I can assure you it is not easy basically living starcraft 24\7 and these guys are working hard. Hoping that they can train hard enough and give the Koreans a run for their money at the next MLG. being surounded by starcraft is one of the best ways to not only keep interested in the game but to learn the game from other players perspectives.

e.g is really putting there best interest into there players and I think this is a great move on there part.

I didn't watch a lot of mlg so I don't wanne comment on whether the foreigners were prepared or not, but if I look at for example Streloks stream during the last weeks, the new trend of bfh was definitly already known and established at least in europe and I would be surprised if a pro at mlg really got caught of guard by them. Perfectly dealing with them is quite something different though, but I wouldn't say the koreans really figgered that out yet.

EG's buisness model always seem like they try to make money out of hosting tourneys and doing shows,not winning tourneys.Like this lame schedule theyre setting up 4hour streaming, and coaching mainly(incontrol,machine) to earn money.What EG and their players are doing currently is nothing close to competing as a pro its just trying to make money calling themselves pro.Incontrol,Machine,Lz honestly are to be honest horrible players waste of spot in tourneys with none results but they keep having these players in their rosters,i can understand this if they dont want to be competive.

Idra has also said that EU and NA is trash compared to the Korean ladder. Whether they're practicing on EU or NA they aren't on the Korean ladder. Lack of Korean ladder sounds like the handicap that matters. I'm not saying that ladder access answers everything, but the Koreans clearly have an advantage and that advantage is NOT the EU ladder.

Just curious, but has anyone seen a pro give a number for the latency they need for *practice* to be valuable?
