To Win:
oGsMC - He hasn't WON anything in a while and it makes me sad.
IdrA - Definitely able to compete with top koreans and that is what you need to be successful at an event like this.
LiquidHuK - First foreigner bonjwa? :D
To Lose:
CatZ - He's just not that good in my opinion.
IMMvp - People expect too much from a player that was just a terran that abused poor balance.
Destiny - He does the same build in both ZvT and ZvP. Fungle growth isn't that hard to land because it holds units in place so the next one is so easy to land. Super overrated player.

I don't think there is any reason to take all this so called "Korean hate" and turn it into anything other then, lets say disliking a rival team in any other sport. most of the people that "hate" Korean players know about them since they follow the GSL so you cant really say they hate Korea. At the end of the day everyone just wants good games and even if its form Korean players in a international event such as MLG I think people will still have fun, e.g: NASL

Well for one MC isn't even attending and second he recently won the stars war invitational which had all the top koreans foreigners and chinese players. Third you used the word bonjwa so all in all your post is just awful.

theres just so much wrong with this post
-MC isnt even going -HuK won 2 tournaments in a row and one was homestory (not that prestigious IMO) and people are starting to call him bonjwa? (ive seen it more than once) -IMMvP abused poor balance, im a whiney zerg and idek what to say here.

Win
DRG - Gosu that I think deserves to shine Naniwa - I want him to prove hes the best foreigner and can compete in Korea. I want him to succeed. Anyone from Team FXO - Just because of FXOBoss> his team deserves a big win after the amount of effort and money they invest into flying their people around the globe and taking a risk in Korea to become a better team. Respect.
Lose
Destiny Spanishwa EG

People I want to see do well: 1) Tyler; Coming through the open bracket, I hope Tyler does extremely well - I know he doesn't need a confidence boost, but he needs something to reignite his love of the game.
2) EG; I dislike their handling of recent situations; however, InControl, Idra, and Machine have been three of my favorite players since beta.
3) Destiny; I like players who work hard and improve, and Destiny's improvement has been substantial lately. His win over Bomber was a big deal in my book and I'd like to see him really pick it up after a disappointing exit in the IPL(even though the games were a month ago or so).
4) Haypro; the guy is so good, his skill shines everywhere except at LAN events, I'd like to see him really break over this wall and get noticed. I'd like to see more confidence and for Haypro to project himself out better.
People I want to see fail: 1) Naniwa; something about his demeanor just irks me, I really like his playstyle and I think he's a phenomenal player, so this isn't really a logical thing - I just want him to lose.
2) Reign(VT); A very talented team that just seems shady to me, and more from the players than the leadership(EG seems more shady in the leadership, and has legitimate, honest players).
3) All of the Koreans except Boxer, and I want those two players out of the top 3. I want to see the 'foreigners' show up and show us that they can compete, not necessarily on a talent level, because every 'foreigner' is just as talented as the Koreans, but I want to see every non Korean show up hungry. I want to see every non Korean working their asses off to beat the Koreans here. I want to see the work ethics of every non Korean be visible, it's one of the main reasons I have EG in my top 3. They're boot camping and training hard right now, that shows an extreme work ethic. In fact, in my list of players I hope perform well, the only one who's work ethic is questionable is Tyler; and I just really like Tyler so I want to see him do well.

To win : Koreans :
MVP : I want him to dominate again, so we can have a consistant terran and because it's sad to see him lose again and again knowing his potential. And I want him to dominate DongRaeGu in a bo5 or bo7 to show that you can win TvZ against DRG likes.
DongRaeGu : I wanna see him in code S to see if he can live up to the expectations and to see him play more than bo1.
BoxeR : It's BoxeR, what else?
Non-koreans :
Huk : there are really few protoss that makes me want to play protoss when I see them play in first person view... and he is one of them
ThorZain : he is the only european terran that I think can beat any koreans coming to this MLG. His TSL & MLG runs were very impressive and the only european terran to give me hope in TvZ.
ToD : coming from the open bracket I hope that he'll do well :D.
To lose :
I don't know, no one in particular. Those who deserve to lose I guess.

To win-
DongRaeGu, been a fan ever since his first few matches in GSTL, the Code A qualifiers are brutal and he so deserves a spot in Code S, he's better than half the players in it.
Destiny, he's pretty active on a music site i frequent, and hes a really cool guy from all the posts ive seen AND he's really good. Ive seen so many people say he's not that good, but he beat Ace & Bomber and put up a good fight against, he's definitely at the level of the top players, he just needs to vary his style now and then.
Idra/MVP, Idra just because he gets so much hate, even though he's a really good player. He's been able to beat MMA who again, won the last MLG and went so far in the GSTL and GSL. MVP just because i'd rather see him do well and win than another foreigner since i'd rather see great games instead of just going strong and meh.
Runner up, Sheth, he's such a nice guy and a good player. He performed fine, not outstanding but good enough in the GSTL match he was in and i hope he does well.
To fail
Huk, he has an annoying personality, to me is overrated as a player although he has talent, and i've never particularly liked him. He was always boring to me.
ColCruncher, I hate him and he's not a great player.
Foreigners in general, except for the ones i hope to win.

To WIN:
QXC - slumping in foreign tournaments, but with the recent GSTL... Any Complexity player - currently favored team Jinro - I miss easter island cheerfuls and jinrolling
To FAIL:
Destiny - Sanctimonious asshole. MMA - Good guy, stand-up guy. Everyone should like him. Heck, I'd be happy if he got top 4. But I really don't want him to win again. Um... can't really think of a third. Not enough hater in me .

Thorzain isn't coming, however he is going to be watching!

the only person i want to win is huk. if he does he'll be immortalized as a legend.

I think that DRG wins and I think he deserves it.
People I think will fail/hope is probably major, destiny and desrow.
|
Win: SeleCT - Huge mancrush on his play. all around solid player that needs a big win imho. IMMVP - My other all time favorite player, when he completely outclassed MKP in the GSL finals I became a fanboy for life. EGIdrA - Very solid player and I love his interviews. I hope he's been practicing more because people are starting to doubt him.
I wanted to say people like Destiny, Fenix (LA Represent!), White-Ra and others but I suffer from eternal fanboy-ism to the above 3.
Edit: I'm STUPID. I forgot jinro was comming. His massive slump saddens me. I want to see him own up at MLG. Jinro fighting!

In my book, Boxer always wins, whether he wins or loses.
|
To win;
idra/DRG/demuslim/boxer
To lose;
nony, naniwa
Yes I just did 4 hopes to win, but BoxeR is an auto hope so he doesn't count

Thorzain isn't coming, however he is going to be watching! Why ? I heard that he won't coming if he wasn't seeded in pool play but he is, isn't he? T_T. I must've not read carefully enough. I forgot Jinro, I want him to win again a bit like Mvp.

Foreigners in general, except for the ones i hope to win. Destiny beat Bomber and Ace an online tourneys that they have to probably play at ridiculous hours. Ddoro Goody and Lovecd also beat Nestea in online tourneys...Destiny should beat a good player at a LAN before you call him at the level of a "top" player.
