No, seeing how Sheth is no longer part of FXO.

Actually, in this case Liquid'Sheth totally makes sense. He matches the criteria very well, considering the type of person he is (very popular, very mannered).
|
Sucks for him to be honest, FXO is going places, offering him spots in Korea and such.. oh well..
|
This does suck for sheth in the advancing his career front. I hope he will be happier with more undedicated time tho :D <3 sheth <3 fxo glad everyone is happy!

Well, wherever he ends up, he'll be a good addition and bring crazy amount of good manners/skill/image. I really wish people on TL would stop thinking of results as a first second or third place only in the past 2 months. You just sound ignorant. Sheth has the ability, just the same as dozens of other pros to produce results, one person cannot always rule the tournament scene at this point in the game.

Thanks, problem solved!!!

FXO fighting, Sheth fighting! Good luck to both sides!

They have not all been really BM, but they are in no way mannered. Tyler has had some pretty good forum posts, HuK is always bm on the ladder and in game. It's not all pixies and rainbows, every TL player has their own personality and are not chosen for being popular and mannered. I would not like to see Sheth on liquid with a player as good as Ret. I dont feel Sheth will be picked up by any major teams, He was given a huge opportunity in Korea and threw it away. I dont know how you respond to that, but it's kinda like not showing up for work. He made a commitment in Korea, was even the team captain in the GSTL and abandoned it. I dont know the full story but either way, saying "korea was just not for me" is not good enough.

Sheth needs to grow up, and I don't mean it in a way to flame him. But in a serious manner. Leaving Korea early so you can "see your family before MLG" is sort of ridiculous. In today's world, there are so many ways to keep in touch, skype, email, instant messaging, even calling is cheap nowadays. I think we should stop defending pro gamers when they make decisions that are obviously poor ones. Can you imagine ANY job where if travelling was required and you were against it, that you WOULDN'T be fired? Imagine an athlete on any professional team that "didn't want to travel" or "wanted to skip the next Away game because he wanted to see family". Unheard of, unless in extremely serious circumstances.
Again, living in close quarters in a team house isn't as easy as all the foreigners thought. Think twice before saying "Korea is LUCKY to have such developed infrastructure". It should be rephrase to "Koreans are dedicated to sacrifice so much for their pro-gaming infrastructure." Family is more important a job or sc2, its not even a choice in my opinion.
At some point.. you have to be an individual. Family will always want you to follow your dreams. Family will always support you in anything that you choose. Family will always love you in whatever it is that you do.
Knowing this, one should be able to try their best.

so true, seeing your family is one thing, advancing your career so that you can be an independent individual is far more important.

Good luck to Sheth wherever life takes him next! He is so nice and talented, he deserves to be on a good team! I'm calling EG.Sheth!!
|
I HOPE SHETH GOES TO EG! sorry FXO
|
I think Sheth got a better end of that deal - I'm sure he'll have no trouble finding a good new team.
I am a bit sorry for FXO, because they lost a good player. Best of luck to them and hopefully they'll find more good players!
And of course, best of luck to Sheth! <3

Well that sucks, seeing as its Sheth I can't imagine what the conflict could have been about, I'm guessing a team will snatch him up pretty quick, he's good, and has experience in Korea.
|
Can't believe this, Sheth just talked about FXO on his stream
He quit Korea cause: 1. room-sharing, no privacy (wow.., ever been to college)? 2. room-sharing, too hot (wow.., ever consider burn off some body fat)? 3. jet-leg between Korea and NASL (that's what sales do, travel to Asia and back all the time) 4. misses his mommy and daddy (u've been away for less than a month, u're 22 already)
For the above reasons, he ditched his teammates in Korea. Way to take responsibility. Yeap, that's basically what he said.
|
Kinda saw this coming when he said he was leaving Korea.... Poor Sheth I hope a US team picks you up, you are so skilled!
