THATS HOW FUCKING JOURNALISM WORKS YOU ASSHAT! Milkis is not a journalist. He's a translator. Then he can translate something, and give it to a journalist.
Or he can make a forum post as a member of the community, and EG's management can do the exact same fucking thing.

wtf, of course it matter. Western esport/player are just as relevant as koreans.
why does the international scene matter (in the context of what I'm talking about)? -Milkis Because EG doesn't really give a crap about the Korean scene, their sponsors aren't interested in the Korean markets and it's not worth the upfront investments / time it would take to find new Korean sponsors. Milikis wants everyone to follow the Korean style, AG wants to run his Sc2 team the way he runs all his other teams and doesn't really care about going through all the hoops to try to break into Korean market.
It's not the Korean style, it's a respected business style. AG wants the best, and he'll get it is the attitude that his showing in my eyes. The quote wasn't finished as Milkis was cut off so it's not a great quote.

This whole debate hurts my head.

Nothing is bullshit about what he's saying. Milkis has brought up multple sources to confirm the transfer and none of them were EG.

Wow, so Alex wants Milkis to go to EG before posting a translated article?
Milkis didn't write the Korean article. If Alex wants to be mad, then go to PlayXP and be mad.

It's an interesting question. It was stated in the OP that it was a FACT that EG had signed Puma when it turns out they didn't sign him at all yet, and there isn't any accountability for that. I'm not saying there needs to be, but it's an interesting discussion fo sho.

Maybe Korean teams should recognize the incoming wave of contract signings and protect themselves. I don't think its exclusive to Korean culture to talk to team management before attempting to sign a player, irrespective of their contract status
It's non existent to talk to management when attempting to sign an unsigned player. It just does not happen in any other major sports that I'm aware of. The only reason it happens is because there are organizations they teams/players belong to the restrict when and how you can approach players. Or they have agents, maybe SC2 players need agents.

AG should have posted in the thread if he felt EG needed to give their side of the story. It's just not how this community works.
|
Leave Milkis alone, wtf. All his tweets are translated or his own opinion.
EG and SirScoot's tweets were just as...well, aggravating in their lack of information.
|
I wish Milkis would take a course in body language = <
Alex on the otherhand, is an excellent speaker.
|
Milkis doesn't know how to defend well, and AG is taking advantage of it by turning the focus into attacking the community.
|
Jesus christ, Milkis a translator, reports a news item on a forum/twitter and is now held accountable for not having Journalist etiquette by not contacting EG beforehand for a statement.
|
"This is not a loaded question and I'm not blaming anyone, but the job you're doing for free as a community service sucks and you should look to get a public comment from EG if you translate anything that is connected to us. Even if none of us made any kind of public comment about the issue it's your fault."
Stay classy EG.
