Why don't you elaborate on this instead of throwing out emotionally loaded accusations. It seems a bit odd to me that EG is actively recruiting players from other teams without contacting their managers/coaches at all. That's what this situation looks like to me, unless Puma was the only person who got a business card at NASL. FXOBoSs posted he got Sheth & Qxc through contacting them first. Sheth did the intermediary aspects with ROOT. So, that's not exactly abnormal behavior.
Boss said qxc told ROOT he needed more financial backing or something along those lines and that qxc contacted him about being on FXO.

DJWheat missing the point...again.

Milkis is going to translate the new PlayXP article woot.
And to those who say AG is beating around the bush, he's spoken on shady issues like this before and to be honest in my opinion this is the LEAST shady he's ever sounded.

He tries too hard for an answer that sounds good. I'd really appreciate something like "we had the money, the player was available, we hired him. That's my job."

lol that just makes him sound like a dick

Having heard Alex speak on a few matters now, his response generally seems to be, everything we did is fine, it is the fault of others for creating drama.
Does he not know it is coming ahead of time each time? Or does he revel in it?

If everything that Alex has said is true that this is exactly what the logical conclusion is.

He wasn't getting paid. Was offered to get paid. Decided to be paid.

It would probably be better than him trying to spin it by blaming culture, puma or TSL's coach.

Now that's good press.

This almost sounds like a classic case of miscommunication.
EG hands Puma a card. Puma says he'll talk to coach about it, no worries. Puma talks to TSL coach. TSL coach thinks he's already been signed(?), feels slighted, and releases Puma with a public statement. But EG hasn't really signed Puma? What?

But they didn't hire him yet. Hearing from AG, I doubt Puma even had a legal agreement that he would be contracted when available.

Yup this. Coach Lee fucked over his player publicly by jumping to conclusions.

^This.
This whole issue should be looked on more as a learning experience for players, coaches, managers and teams in how they approach each other in these player transfer situations.
