NagaSeaWitch is 5 times better than dDoro imo. You kidding me bro? He has more impressive BW then most pros. He reach A- on about 4 different accounts as 2 races and I think at least a solid A on another.. The guy has unhoned potential/skill that is far greater than any 'non winning pro' right now. Most pros right now (Huk for instance) has similar or worse bw stats. If he can translate his BW skills into Sc2 skills, and practice/train with a good team/schedule. He could start rolling. He already rolls these pro's on a daily basis on ladder. He's the kinda player I look at and think that he could roll the open MLG bracket all the way to the finals and do it while skyping. My comment is in regards to your first sentence. I dont follow NagaSeaWitch so idk about the skill comparing. This doesnt mean anything bro, Tyler, incontrol, machine, to mention a few where A lvl in BW too and they arent as good as they were in BW, so your argument is not valid. there are more no BW players doing good than those BW pro. Tyler, Incontrol, and Machine do not practice enough and are really lacking lately in competing. They all have the ability to be soo much better than they are. Incontrol is currently taking that step. I believe Machine could roll throughout alot of Foreigners if he tried his best. At this point in time I would iNka is better than both tyler and inc from when I watch them stream constantly, which I do for hours many days a week, and as I mentioned bw skill just means they have the potential (also an opinion so doesn't mean much). If the two players I named can become as common as those 3 on TL, i would be ecstatic!! On your comment, no 'good' bw pro is currently playing. We have some bonjwas, like July and Nada, but at the time of SC2, if you looked at all the old bw pro's, they all had bad records when they switched. They weren't at the top of their game. MVP was the current highest bw player out of the group of bw pro's when the game switched, and his record was only like 56 percent when he switched, still not that great. If forGG is indeed Raptor. He would be one of the first elite bw players (by his current skill level in bw only, not his achievments) and would roll alot. He crushed HuK. also, since some people wont understand what i mean, i love July and Nada, Nada is a god among men, but this thread are about the demi gods yo!

The point of this thread is for underrated/unknowns that have slipped out of fame or have hid just outside its reach. Being in the GSL pretty much means your name doesn't belong in this thread. So far good ones ive seen. Stephano, Lowely, Mystic, (my own so its biased: ddora, inka, MiTStareagle). People mentioned Destiny. I think that if he got coached by a proper pro zerg and trained very hard, he has the skill to be good, but yea he needs to be less predictable. That is not the point of this thread. The point of the thread is to mention underrated players. Fame is just a variable because you can't value a player's skill without exposure. Underrated means estimated below the real worth in terms of player skill. Like a previous user said, Polt is underrated because he wins a GSL Super Tournament yet gets no credit as how much of a Terran beast he is. Most people had no idea who TSL.Puma was before he won NASL a week ago. He made very few GSL appearances and then comes to California and shows us some of the most impressive gameplay to come out of SC2. A month ago he would've been underrated. The fact that you are just disgarding 75-90% of all Korean pros because they are involved in a GSL/GSTL match or two demonstrates your ability, or lack thereof, to gauge a person's true level of skill. It would've been better if you said "non-Koreans or foreigners that are underrated are..." It's not fair for the Korean progamers that practice 70+ hours a week with most not even having a broadcasted game yet. If anything, being in the GSL MEANS you belong in this thread. The Code A dropouts, the Code B monsters that we haven't even seen play yet. People like DRG or MMA who we had no idea how truly good they were a few months ago - these type of players were the perfect embodiments of "underrated players." And it's Ddoro. Not Ddora. Thanks for being a dick bro. I have wrote throughout every page what it was I meant the post to be, as I am the OP. I can quote myself 'Who are some players you think have the ability to play at extremely high levels that havent made breakthroughs yet?' 'What are some of your thoughts and players you feel haven't 'broke' out so to speak in the tournament setting.' .........Summing Up-----Meaning they have 'No Name' at all in any scene or very little recently and have the potential to be great. So yes, that means im not talking about players whe play in the gsl or gstl consistently. They dont fit the profile. That doesn't mean there aren't players in every country that fit that role though, and thats what my topic was aimed at. I think you need to calm down a bit. Read whole whole topic before jumping in to bash people bro. Sorry about the typo, i believe i've said his name about 10 times in this thread, im ok with once being wrong. I apologize for coming off aggressive - I didn't see your 2-line post that said + Show Spoiler + "I was trying to stay away from Korean, just our local pros. Buf ofc im in the same boat about Sage, us brotoss need some new generation blood everywhere it seems. " Your most recent post says,+ Show Spoiler + "Just so people realize. The point of this thread is for underrated/unknowns that have slipped out of fame or have hid just outside its reach. " Also, "Being in the GSL pretty much means your name doesn't belong in this thread", when the title of the thread is "Players You Think Are Underrated" is completely tactless as the OP. You need to change the title of the thread to "foreigners that are underrated" or "non-Koreans that are underrated." This thread is likely to get a lot of responses, so spreading them out was silly. I didn't even realize + Show Spoiler + "I was trying to stay away from Korean, just our local pros. Buf ofc im in the same boat about Sage, us brotoss need some new generation blood everywhere it seems. " Please update the first post or change the title before this turns into a foreigner scene vs. GSL flame war.

I think Rain is underrated (arguable; whenever he cheeses, it is usually a bad move. If he stops choosing to cheese or all-in then he will do much better). Also, HongUn and Anypro are pretty solid. They're not really unique or creative that I know of, but they always get pretty far in GSLs. There's probably a few more but can't think of many right now.

I think destiny will do great soon too, hes been owing ladder - both NA and KR And bulletproof (a non-featured rank 1 master toss) is fucking awesome too. Hes beaten destiny/ret/slush and played against alot of other good playes - major/minigun/cruncher. he should be in GM next season for definite and hes just a really good player. Dont think hes done any kind of tournament though, not even TL open or anything ![]() Oh and day[9] of course :D he said on the last SOTG that he was gonna start streaming but not any time soon, he wants to play the game more first. I went onto destiny stream yesterday and him and day were watching a replay together and discussing stratergy and shit. cant wait for him to stream, hed get more then idra imo
