Maybe top 3 Zerg? He was #1 Zerg on KR ladder for a long time - I agree that there's a lot of hype surrounding him, but I still don't know where you're getting "best player in the world" or "top 3 player in the world" from. I can see why people are getting anxious with the hype - possibly because of Ace/Moon's success in foreign tournaments is well documented but their failures past round 1 of Code A, makes foreigners look bad. On the flipside we're hoping DRG, who is a GSTL Hero like MMA, can come to an MLG and dominate, and then have more success when he returns to Korea to prove that our predictions were right in that he is a beast. I hope that made sense :3

As for some underrated players, I'd say: Mystik, Daisuki, Everize, Murder. I think all of these players are either mostly unknown, or they go way deeper in tournaments than people expect.

So far good ones ive seen. Stephano, Lowely, Mystic, (my own so its biased: ddora, inka, MiTStareagle). People mentioned Destiny. I think that if he got coached by a proper pro zerg and trained very hard, he has the skill to be good, but yea he needs to be less predictable.

I always forget Murder :/. I haven't watched Everize but heard good things.

I've always thought of Top as the "Terran of the future", just because of his very good macro. I don't think HongUn gets as much attention as he deserves, as the Protoss players constantly mention Killer/Inka/Trickster as "non-MC protoss that are good", but never HongUn, who is probably as good as any of them. For foreigners, I think Fenix is really good. It's a little frustrating some of his 'good runs' haven't translated into wins. I also don't think Stalife gets the attention he deserves. I dunno if I'd say he's a top NA Terran, but he's certainly a lot better then people seem to think.

Edit: ...and TOP does not get enough recognition, even after the win against NesTea.

MC - Despite winning more money than anyone else in Sc2, despite being the only Protoss GSL winner and constantly showing better micro/macro/game sense/strategy than any other Protoss in the world by far people seem to begrudgingly accept him as a great player. It's absurd, he's 10 times better than any other Protoss player in Sc2 and yet he's still referred to by most as "one of the best Protoss players", rather than the God of Protoss that he is. TOP - MMA and Puma might have all the hype but TOP has the results in Korean solo tournaments. Code A winner, Super Tournament Semi finalist (knocked out Nestea), some reasonable Code S runs. Great player. Byun - Another fantastic Korean Terran who has no hype behind him but consistantly produces good results at the highest level. DDE - Cheesy player but has good results for a foreigner.
