Xiaot, Sage, etc. could easily beat any player in NA/EU but they don't have nearly the same recognition. For example, Destiny pulls 5k stream viewers easily but he can't even get past round 1 of the open bracket at MLG (which is by far easier than GSL).

Honestly, why does he pull 4.5k viewers every day? It's the biggest mindfuck in the Starcraft Universe

Leenock was kind of off the radar until the recent Code A. I always thought he was a fantastic player ever since the epic series against Clide in the 2nd or 3rd Open GSL last year. But every GSL he played basically the strongest players right in the beginning rounds and slowly dropped off.
I hope he stays sharp and has some better bracket luck in the future.

He is very entertaining, I suppose. I don't watch his stream, but that what I can infer based on what I've heard.

The Chinese progamers are definitely underrated though (to say it again). XiaoT, for example, is monstrously good but few have heard of him. Also, I didn't mean blackcitadel--it was supermanSG or something of the like. He's a Korean/NA GM who often plays S/A players and wins.
Failure is not falling down over and over again. Failure is refusing to get back up.

Well, anyone who followed WC3, like... at all, knows XiaoT. He also did really well in Stars War, so it's hard to call him underrated imo. I can't wait till we start to see Chinese players in more international events - i would love to see a real competitor to Korea come up and China is the only likely country. In the latter years of WC3 they overtook the Koreans except for a handful.

IMYoda

But "underrated" probably isn't a good description of any IM player, anyone would say they would be strong, I just think he's really special atm.

ZenexPuzzle, but now he defo couldn't be called underrated, doing so well in code A. I was a big fan of his from the start of this season however.

But he is never making short-term prediction, everyone of his prediction are based on fundenmentals, but he doesn't exactly know when it will happen... So using these kind of narrowed "who-is-right" empirical analysis makes little sense.

A couple of points.

Goody gets ridiculed for his strategy as well as his APM/macro mechanics.

Ret is Dutch and plays in Europe.

Have you ever heard the story, about the Zergling and the Probe? The Probe didn't make it across the creep.

Creative player that catches a lot of pro's off guard. He's going to make it deep into a major tournament one of these days.
