Hopefully Nestea's competitive fire will burn with envy after MVP stomps his way through Anaheim. It won't since Nestea is going to win GSL July and officially be the best player in the world. MVP can feel free to win MLG.
Not if DRG has something to say about that

Few things.
1 - "MLG also sees that our Starcraft 2 tournament was only successful thanks to the Korean players.
Never said that. Said that having the Korean players only helped to elevate the excitement level and added a new level to the competition.
2 - The counterstrike - WoW comment was around how we first started working with Blizzard. Was not meant as a comparative.
3 - The NASL line. I gave a long winded answer that pointed to our intention of using Day9, DJ Wheat, Tastosis and my favorite sad kitten - JP rather than bringing in eye candy just for the sake of having eye candy. In other words - we'd want knowledgeable eye candy - which does exist.
Lastly - the trip was a huge success. Things are looking good for the North American scene.
Next time I'm bringing my own translator with me. Milkis - make sure your passport is in order for November.
You just mentioned djWHEAT and JP, I don't think you get more knowledgeable eye candy than that. Although I do think you're being too critical of NASL and Lindsey, It was a great marketing move, and if she gets hired again she will be infinitely better Yeah maybe she'll match Totalbiscuit in game knowledge.
People keep saying this but I don't see in what way DJWheat and JP has more game knowledge than TB. I've just listened to DJWheat solo cast for the IPL...analysis wise it was horrible. And Wheat doesn't have any other redeeming qualities.

Hiring interviewers because they don't know anything about the game is never a good idea.

I like the news about MLG adding a few fighting games. Hopefully ssf4ae, mvc3, and maybe tekken tag tourney 2 when that comes out later this year/early next year.
It's a shame Evo is on the same weekend as Anaheim.

You can bet they won't be adding any Capcom games, Capcom banned them from using them for fear it might destroy the FGC.... or something along those lines.

Oh shit, Milkis with a gig for Sundance ;D!
Didn't MLG have Tekken before?

Yea but there's not really anything else, so when he mentioned fighting games I assumed maybe they were working something out with Capcom finally.

I hope that NesTea comes very soon. I hope that NesTea comes very soon. I hope that NesTea comes very soon. I hope that NesTea comes very soon. I hope that NesTea comes very soon. I hope that NesTea comes very soon.
Blizzard SC2 Game Director Dustin Browder said that his favorite progamer is IMNesTea and especially SC2 Balance team chose the most refreshing strategy televised in GSL as IMNesTea's spine crawler destroying Forge-First protoss nexus......lol. They said that all of them are very surpised at it because it was totally different with their creating prupose. They told that every balancing team member is a big fan of NesTea.

As long as it is isn't Mortal Kombat, maybe it's just the games I saw, but it feels very slow and sluggish~

Doubt it, apparently MK9 competitive scene is pretty much gonna die out after Evo from what people are saying. Unless MLG decides to save it I guess, but yea, its not that great.

Sudance, I love your answer about NASL. That is exactly how i felt. Love how you are keeping MLG professional.

JP is masters, idk if that makes any difference. But Wheat is on the same level als TB for shure.

It's more like someone has to convince NesTea to go. Since NesTea doesn't really get knocked out of GSLs until pretty late, it'd be surprising to see him at a MLG for a bit. I'd love to see him at one, but we pretty much need him to take 3rd in his Ro32 GSL August group to see him anytime soon.
Though we might see him at Blizzcon, as that's always possible.
