Pretty standard by the betting but quite good
Wow... that is impressive.
Why did Negreanu call the re-raise at the flop with just AK? It looks like he completely missed the flop. Was he setting up for a bluff? It doesn't look like he had the chips to go for one, though.
Was he trying to call down McNiff's potential bluff?

Minbet, he's getting 4 to 1 to call and hit an A or K and AK may even be ahead at this point, knowing DN is short and a minbet could be very weak to force a cbet to fold.

Ah, that makes sense. What a clever player.

I guess so, and they said McNiff is an aggressive player so it was possible that Daniel actually had the best hand on the flop and even if he didn't he had outs, my take on it.

O.O man i can play and understand poker, but theres something about talking about it/reading about the hands that gets me confused.

It was a min raise so he were getting the odds to call if he thought the other guy had jj and wouldnt fold if a or k hit. Also a chance he were bluffing.

What's more impressive, to me, than Negreanu's reads, are how bad the commentators/analysts are without knowing what the cards are. DN is sitting on a small stack, raises pre-flop, then the dumbasses start speculating that he may have a hand "like 5/8"..wtf... he was clearly sitting on a small/middle pair or A10+, unless he had completely lost his mind..
