The A10 shove is perfectly fine, I would be seriously worried about his ambition to do anything in the tournament if he had folded.

He had already made the money, and now the steps up the money ladder are so small for the next few hundred spots. He can fold almost every hand and make an extra few thousand, or he can shove in marginal spots with decent fold equity and if he gets called he has decent odds against many calling ranges.

You can't be folding A10 suited at that stage with no stack. You want to be in there, but you want a stack. If he folds he blinds out and ends up making the correct shove with a big hand later on, but only doubling back up to where he was.

There was no real decision, and it's not that debatable to be honest.

People need to read this.

What sites can you still play online poker at?

In the United States you can play on Carbon, which is part of the Merge network, but I wouldn't risk depositing anywhere if I were you. They do have some freerolls if you wanna start from scratch though. After all of the stuff on black friday, I wouldnt consider any online money safe as an American. :/ It kinda sucks.

Yeah t.t

Kinda makes it a bit scary to play poker these days, and I don't have a massive group of poker playing friends to play with in person.

Agree with this, there's no argument that he played it incorrectly. Poker in your basement =/= Live tournament poker.

Well, Elky has like 7 million bucks in winnings+ while Kiwi plays midstakes at the moment so that's a weird thing to say.

Kiwi still looks really good though and this thread is to cheer for him! :>

Elky may have 7 million dollars of tournament money but most of these Millions are gone. They are gamblers. Most of them even go broke right after winning big bucks. Pros even on interviews say they always go broke.

broke is a big word, I'm not broke but I can't afford 10 000$ buy-in poker tournament. They say they are broke but they still can pay this amount of money to play poker

A good number of the poker pros end up selling action so they don't cough up the entire 10k. They'll probably put up 4500 and sell 5500 to other buyers for a 50/50 profit split.
