It pains me to watch some of his sc2 games and see even at times when he's not microing his units, his minerals still spike to over 1k. It's like he's purposely handicapping himself by not improving his macro. I don't mean to offend him cause I only want him to be the best, but does cella or anyone on his team tell him to improve his macro because he would not have dropped out of code a with great macro. He's going toe to toe with his opponents but is losing because his macro falls behind his opponents. In the first game against asdfou he had that game. He had entire map control, but decided to sit on one mining base to the far right when he had asdfou contained. He had the opportunity to take bases at the whole bottom left side of the map, but chose not to. If he had bases on that side he would have been banking a ton of resources so even when he made that error to lose his contain and army, he would have had enough to rebuild his army to possibly make a comeback. I get that boxer was never known as a macro player, but macro is so easy in sc2 compared to bw, that I don't know why he doesn't improve it because he's handicapping himself by not macroing like a nada or ogstop. To me the quickest way for boxer to rise back to the top again is to just improve his macro and hope he does in the future as that will greatly improve his play and prove the haters wrong. | ||
