Pretty self-explanatory, it's a 13 minute documentary that interviews and follows MMA. Not really talked about, but I saw it on their twitter just posted. Here's the link

http://www.gomtv.net/2011gstls1/gomcam/65681

I encourage you to watch, because it is very nice.

Edit: Also, I realize this was on GSTL yesterday, but not a lot of people stay up that late/wake up early, so I just didn't want it to be missed.

There are a lot of hidden gems throughout the seasons on GOMCAM that get missed by most people. I really liked the MKP video last gsl. (losira as well)

Also its all free.

MMA seemed like a really cool guy when I saw him at GSTL. I hope he doesn't feel down and has continued success in the future.

Oh, nice, thoguht it was something like a real individual project from a third party kind of thing, but it's one of GOM's epic productions!

Thanks GOM!

I really lost it when he said he couldn't look his father in the eye at the ST. I had a similar experience in HS when I epic failed in this science bowl after doing really well in the earlier rounds. My parents thought I was embarrassed about them cheering me on but in reality I was embarrassed that I was doing well but when they showed up I finally screwed up for my team. They were actually quite angry at me the rest of the day. I never bothered to correct that for some reason (pride I guess, the bad kind).

So MMA, I know how you feel, but you're much harder working and I have complete faith in your future efforts.

Great documentation, I really like the guy.

Wasn't that the finger that he broke that prevented him from doing MMA?

Yeah, I was referring to the guy I quoted who thought it was funny MMA said he practices ONLY 20-30 games a day. I thought that for Korean standards, that's not very much after all. His reasoning behind that is perfectly fine, I just wondered if I was mistaken.

I think someone from oGs said a while ago that they practice for around 10 hours a day, 6 days a week, and I imagine it's even more for SlayerS.

That's not true, Jinro says oGs have two 4 hour practice sessions. (1 in afternoon and 1 at night)

Awesome documentary! Like stated before, it was a bit hard to read the subtitles because of the lightning in the video.. but great nonetheless.

I thought some of the video was pretty cheesy, specifically, when the music was playing like a rocky training montage. All complaints aside, i thought it was interesting.

This really really solidifies me as an MMA fan. I don't think he is at all the best player out there, but he plays very entertaining games and series. He has gotten lucky, for sure, and has even admitted this. At the same time, I think he has shown true brilliant at certain times.

Also, his personality is stellar. I like his attitude about things, it goes deeper than the conditioned stereotypical Korean humility. I also like players like DRG, but the guy is a bit of a yutz in interviews. MMA is the real deal. I do sincerely hope that he can come back strong and we will see much more of him.

Personally I found the MKP documentary better. I still have to watch the Losira one.

I wonder why they have not done one for MC and Nestea.. maybe they are aware of the jinx?

Well MC's always flying in and out of Korea and Nestea doesn't really make himself known to the community I think. MMA and MKP I'm guessing are heavy fan favourites in Korea.

I loved the MMA/Boxer dynamic in that. The shot with BoxeR practicing, then the camera focuses on MMA next to BoxeR... great scene there.

You should check out the VoDs of the Homestory Cup, day I. HuK talks a bit about how team oGs is a tad more laid back than their manage would like them do be. He does not talk about details, but I think it's relatively safe to say that SlayerS are not laid back whatsoever. That's all speculation, though.

... The vid just made me have nerdchills about Boxer's ESP about who's an upcoming player and who can do well.

MMA's a fucking boss though, although his ability to come back from being so far behind is far superior to his ability to be ahead the whole game and take it home.

Assuming an average game lasts 15 minutes he's still training for 5 hours a day which is plenty. I have to think that if all of slayers were healthy they'd be insane. Boxer's shoulder + MMA's fingers are sad to hear about =/.
