I personally don't really care. I don't really think it looks "gay" as much as it just makes them look extremely effeminate. But in many Asian cultures, that's not really gay at all in my experience. Anyway it seems like all in good fun so I'm fine with it  Reminds me of when I tried dressing up as L for Halloween... lol eyeliner.

Yeah, but it's not gay. None of the gay men I know wear makeup as far as I know. Or dress like women for that matter. Halloween notwithstanding.

If anything this is great for exposing a lot of the latent bigotry and homophobia in the SC community. I'd hoped it might be different from somewhere like FPS games where homophobia and sexism ('I totally raped that faggot) is accepted and encouraged, but maybe not.

I donate to the HRC (human rights campaign) which is an advoacy group for gay/lesbian/transgendered rights in the USA and participate locally in gay rights organizations. I still think this looks retarded. Hating this look and being some sort of bigoted homophobe aren't joined at the hip.

To all the people that don't understand how something can "look gay": if something is done predominantly by a certain kind of person, it becomes associated with them. This look is usually enjoyed by effeminate men, or men who are otherwise preoccupied with their appearance.
I have no moral problem with men being effeminate, even though I don't think it's a good look aesthetically. I think that looking like one is preoccupied with their appearance is usually vain and cheap looking. Obviously, these players did not choose the look, so I'm not judging them. But it still looks bad, and I still associate it with people who are preoccupied with the way they look.
