Is that Trickster and Fruitdealer (3rd and 4th from the left)? I can't be sure - looks a lot like trickster though.
Also, I can't translate the comment >.< sigh.
According to NASL season 2 sign ups, there is a player called 'StarTaleTrickster' participating, from south korea. I'm aware that this isn't concrete but it's definatley a possibility. If anyone has anything to confirm I can edit it into the OP.

It's possible that they want to get a stronger already established line up, they have a couple of solid players but they already have a lot of up and comming players like Virus and Tiger. Althought they do already have July, Bomber and Ace...so...Who knows.

lol! I don't see how TSL can recover from this
TSL will be better off without him and FD, rest of their players are as strong and have a better work ethic. Hell if Puma gets over his nerve issues somewhat he can carry TSL through half a team league the way he's been playing in online cups these past few weeks.

If July had lost the first game he would've had the freebie and if Tester then lost to Nestea they would've played anyway for the second spot. It changed nothing.

Waat. FD and Trickster were buddy buddies. I even thought they left together because in beta they always were together. They even made the TSL together. Not sure I like the move to ST but I at least hope Fruitdealer is picked up with ST too. Maybe they will even start winning something

I don't know maybe he wants to win? LoL
This is probably more likely, tbh. TSL is a team most players joined because of it's incredibly light practice regiment, and it's fairly likely that they see joining another team as a new opportunity to get good(again, in the case of Tester and FD).
I think this puts to rest all those claims about "Trickster didn't want to practice too hard so when TSL changed, he quit". I'm fairly certain that as it stands right now ST actually practices more overall than TSL and the results show that. Not to mention he'll finally have some sick practice partners for Z and T. Come to think of it, does ST have a star Protoss? You have Bomber as the leading Terran, July as the leading Zerg with Curious closely following but when I think Protoss I only really think of Ace (who has admittedly changes focuses from GSL to NASL), and Squirtle who showed some great promise when he sniped MVP two GSLs ago and hasn't been astounding since then and is also focusing on the NASL. I think Trickster will finally be able to change from being a mediocre code S player to finally taking back some of the fame the beta brought him. I can only hope for the future. Trickster fighting!

I'd say Ace and Squirtle are definatley top protoss. More so Ace than Squirtle.

Plus with the Trickster, i would have to agree tho. His SC2 name (티에스엘사기수.272), Translates into "Tieseuelsagisu". In which obviously it isn't fake. ( TSLSagisu ).

It's still a possibility that FD may join, ST have quite a low number of zergs compared to Terran and Protoss. In addition, their star zerg is seemingly awful at ZvZ, so they may need a zerg other than July who can't be insta-sniped by the other teams sending a zerg in.

Where is dealer now?
No word on him. Trickster says FD's scouting different teams though.
- Are you looking for a new team? I guess you can say that. I am in talks with some teams, but I think I will need to talk more with my previous coach.
- What is your mindset like for this season? Since it is just me now, I need to get even better results. I need good results if I want to make it to another team…
- Anything you want to say to the fans? I hope they don’t worry too much. I will eventually find a team, and I may end up joining a team very soon. It may be as soon as the end of this week.
And then this re: FD:
We are living together, but we are not looking at the same teams. Fruitdealer has had better results so he may get to go wherever he likes.

He and FD has at least been hanging to their S code thrones so I have hope that they will rise again! Sad that FD might join other team but it's good for them to leave TSL I guess. Maybe this will make them practice more and get more motivation. FD needs to join the ranks of Losira and Nestea. aka IM!
Hmm StarTale is one of my favorite teams, so it's good to see them gain another well known Code S player, but his results have been going down hill. As someone else said, I would rather see ST pick up someone with potential rather than someone who is already just surviving in Code S, but maybe they already have enough players with potential, and for now they want some relatively big names... and ST's training may help improve Tester's play. Hopefully he does well. Go ST!
Also, someone tell Tester that the name "Tester" is way cooler than "Trickster."

That's a good pickup for Startale, a toss with alot of experience who can help Ace and Squirtle get over whatever they need to get over in order to do well. Now for Fruitdealer.........

Yea Tester won't add anything. Tester is still a beast of a Protoss despite the general consensense that he doesn't practice. The main reason being that he doesn't need to in the TSL house. Now thought he's joining a house where he isn't the top dog anymore and most likely will be practicing a bunch. Yea Tester adds nothing.
Nice i think its a good pickup for startale, he is a player with lots of experience regardless of his results recently. A few months ago people were saying he had the best PVZ in korea, so him and july zerg can boss up the PVZ

Now I'm really wondering why they left TSL. It's not like StarTale practices less than TSL - if anything, ST probably practices more - and ST also doesn't offer salaries to their players, right? I suppose it really could be them wanting to go to more foreign tourneys, but even that doesn't make sense, since TSL now has a shit ton of players in the NASL qualifiers.
I hope he can get back into shape on this new team. + Show Spoiler +
Even though he won today
he still has way more potential in his play. He's usually his own worst enemy as sometimes he shows brilliance and the next moment he fucks it up for himself.
OMG FruitDealer please switch with him! ( i think they are friends )
If Rainbow and Tester and FruitDealer are all on ST, I think that would be great. It's like the korean "bonjwa trio" from the Beta all on one team Too bad Rainbow has to go to army sometime soon.
Well, obv an interesting move for ST. Don't know how often Trickster will be sent out for GSTL though, with ST having so many established players already.
Is there confirmation? I mean, anyone can register as "startaletrickster" if they wanted to and had $5. I don't think it's likely that someone would waste money to pull a prank like that, but it's weird that Trickster would take that ID without publicly announcing his new time first.
Damn, I wonder what did StarTale offer him? StarTale has a lot of old/sort of old school players now (July, Rainbow, Tester, etc). TSL was the first Korean SC2 team to offer players a salary too. Now I'm anxious to know where FD will end up.
Trickster said he will probably announce his team at the end of the week but didn't say anything about startale, saying that he is discussing with some teams.
It'll be interesting to see if Fruitdealer follows Tester, especially considering that they are living together after leaving TSL + Show Spoiler +
according to Tester's post-game GSL Code S interview.
I'm sure that more details about their leaving from TSL and possible joining of ST and/or other teams will be revealed in the coming days, especially as players start talking about the move in their winners interviews.

well, making it out of that group really ended up being luck tbh. He got a freebie vs. rain that July didn't have the chance to have.
Well, Trickster would have most probably beaten Rain... sooo if you analyze the probability... he would have still gotten out of that group... your 1st game is not as important as your 2nd and 3rd... in the current system
I hope the new environment makes him better at the game. His NASL qualifier performance wasn't that exciting. I don't think there has been official confirmation, but it would be good for Trickster. Didn't think ST needed another Protoss but hey, why not

Well he only had one... As soon as July won Game 1... July only needed 1 win to go through... he had a chance against Nestea, didn't win... second chance against Tester... same thing... while Tricksters* performances have fallen according to his haydays in the beta... his PvZ has remained pretty decent...

you can't say that trickster would have beaten rain, he lost to the bestfou in the super tourney in the first round -.-
If this is true, I'm partially sad. As a fan of his forever now I was wishing he would get on a foreign team. However I believe he will do just fine with ST. Hopefully whatever issues there was with TSL won't be a problem for him anymore.

Because he's one of these guys who are in Code S for ages, yet never really have had any results. He produces some decent games, he also has his share of terrible blunders, and he's never really looked like a potential champ.
For most people (myself included), when you look at people like MKP or Losira or sC or Top or whatever, you can see the potential, and it's obvious that despite their lack of big titles, they are always contenders for one. When I look at Trickster or Fruitdealer, I can't help but wonder why are they in Code S while someone like Hero or Leenock is in Code A.
Don't get me wrong, I don't hate Trickster nor FD or anything like that, I just think that due to how GSL works, simply staying in Code S for a while isn't much of an achievement, and frankly, he hasn't done much more than loiter around the fringes of Code S.

Staying in code S isn't much of an achievement? I don't know about you, but if I could play on code S levels of play, and stay in code s for multiple seasons I would feel really good. I think it's a hell of an achievement.
So stale means he has no potential basically? I see a lot in him really, and I hope he goes far just to prove it too.
It's no easy task to even get into code a, and you say it's no achievement to stay in code s for multiple seasons. I really think you're underestimating the Korean scene. I guess everyone in Code S that isn't NesTea, MC or MVP are really just lingerers in Code S and should be replaced because it's not an achievement to stay in code s without that high of results. kk.
People leaving is quite simple I think. The team was over-rated for a long time, and since GSL 4 they've been pretty much washed up. The team continually fails to produce results, very easy for me to understand why players would be leaving it. StarTale actually produces solid results, consistently.

Looks like GooDFriend. Caption says it was a picture taken before GF left for the army. Seems like they were all close from BW days. Doesn't really mean FD and TricksteR are joining, but it could be a subtle hint

Awesome to see Rainbow, Fruitdealer, and Trickster together again. All 3 were on oGs in the Beta and shortly at the beginning of SC2. The top 3 Korean players during Beta on the same team was OP. Hoping to see them rise up again.

Pretty sure that wont happen, why is everybody so hyped about him - cuz he was an Ok BW Player?^^
Because he was kickass in the beta, anyone who followed SC2 from the start was taught that 'Tester' was the best player around, and he was. Until he never did anything again somewhere between loosing to IdrA and GSL1.
People know he can do it, we're waiting for him TO DO it.
i wonder what TSL did to drive trickster away. i remember hearing he had the second highest salary on TSL and that FD's salary was 30k. That sounds like a lot of money to walk away from. I somehow doubt he's getting that high of a salary from ST
i don't like startale so much to be honest. They've got some great players, but i heard their coach is a dick... and that's just not the kinda coach there needs to be, i love how sc has some really supportive coaches.

it's not all about salary, TSL is getting worse for the most part, i mean FD and Trickster are some of their best players, and maybe they felt like they didn't have anyone of their status on the team, or maybe they want a different practice schedule/ environment

I do not approve T.T All this will lead to is more pulled scv all-ins and "worst banshee control in the world". Every opponent and viewer will face-palm when TheBestfou gets close spawn positions and does a 2 rax all-in. While there may be fans of his 100% aggressive style, I am certainly not a fan of how he approaches RTS games as a player. I don't recall ever watching a game from TheBestfou and thinking was the superior player in his gameplay, decision-making or micro/macro.
