If ur gona have a non korean team vs a korean team where both teams r full of koreans, whats the point of that ? theres no excitement. I wonder if eventually all these "foreign" teams drop all their current players eventually and it will just be Koreans. Wouldn't that be a kick in the teeth? I totally understand what you mean though. It's like watching your local sports team try hard season after season then they just sign on some superstars. At least FXO is using their Korean acquisition for potential coaching and are making serious actual efforts to be an actual team that practices together. (Of course... they have resources to do that unlike other teams, so that's not fair )

I somewhat think that Rain did want to go to USA regardless, maybe he wants to study or something? Don't think he will have enough training partners over there.

Yeah, agree! It's not like reaching code S finals and staying in code S is anything special, I mean ANY foreigner....o wait... They're not signing bit by bit, man.

I recognize that you are saying its great for the foreign scene to have a korean pro gamer joining a foreign team, regardless of who (and i totally agree), but come on guys.. could you be any more bias? Really..? During/after his GSL run 90% you guys were spewing trash like 'Rain is a "disgraceful cheese noob" that "doesnt know how to macro" and "needs to be out of code s/a" '... Now he joins a foreign team and all of a sudden 90% of the comments about him are 'great pickup for sure', 'great player that will prove all the haters wrong', 'underrated player'.. It reminds me of the weak-minded people who watch WWE (not everyone who watches WWE), the ones that cheer for the wrestler that is written to be 'the good guy', rather than picking someone THEY like and cheering for him.. Its one thing to say its great for the scene.. But its a joke how the opinions of him as a player change so drastically just because he joins a foreign team.. Now i never hated on Rain as a player (nor liked him much really) but it will be interesting to see how this pans out for both fnatic and rain! Definitely great for the foreign scene (and potentially the korean scene too)! I'd be pretty excited to see what kind of cheeses Rain can introduce into Fnatic players' arsenals :D

Anyways, not sure if that was the right move for FnaticMSI, but I believe in their judgement.

I somehow doubt you'll find that 90% of them were indeed who you're pointing fingers at. That aside, I'm decidedly not a fan of Rain, but this is a really, really interesting step forward for SC2 globally. It's cool to hear, regardless of who it is.
