They are going to get further and further behind, god, couldn't even imagine if more real starcraft players swapped over. I find it so funny when foreigners have this assumption that they are getting closer to koreans, when in one year, it will be 2 totally segregated scenes, much like BW. How can you claim that the scenes will be segregated when we see this recent movement toward the integration of Korean and non-Korean teams and the migration of Koreans to NA teams? To me, it seems the distinction will become increasingly obsolete as far as "scenes" are concerned. The discussion about Huk being Korean speaks to this as well. tl;dr The gap can be closed, traversed, and even rendered obsolete through time spent in Korean and through team integration.

To keep the scenes together, training outside of Korea needs to be a viable competitive option. Currently it isn't, but hopefully it will become so, with foreigner team houses and better practice-partner networking.

There is an extreme amount of money coming out of sc2 in non korean countries atm, its only natural that korean players are trying to get a piece of the pie, while smart managers are merging teams to take advantage of this. This doesn't change the fact that the gap is only going to get larger, and we will have another repeat of the BW scene where koreans dominate it hardcore.
