So exciting! Just changed my team again.
Since Aces don't get extra points the chance is too high that they won't play, so I tried to get a lot 2nd/3rd best players who almost always play, most notably LosirA, Ryung und GuMiho.
Byun is one of the ZeNex Stars and a quite good player. He maybe the Ace but since the team is bad, he will get to play often. Puzzle and Hero are good value for their points and should play some games, like they did in the past.
For the rest I looked at the schedule and got Sheth and Twilight for the Main Team and F.United guys for the Anti Team. These will be traded at halftime.
As for oGs I feel they have still one of the strongest teams and just perfoming badly in team league. For this price I take oGs.

Okay, made a Korea vs the World team, with the top non-Koreans in the pool vs the top Koreans in the pool. I wonder if I'll end up in the negative (considering I have twice as many non-Koreans raking me in points than Koreans giving me minus points).

MC is a baller so of course he is the captain, I'm a Huk fan boi. MC took a lot of points so i couldn't get the terran I wanted but I guess nada and top aren't bad, so isn't QXC. Tried to have a race balanced team, not all terran, not all protoss and not all zerg.
For my anti team I just don't like moon, and the other 2 are just sorta random choice because I needed to add up to 13 points.

Bit surprised so many people are going with Lyn and Moon in the anti-team. Any points they get count against you, that player being used is -1 point. Since F.United is basically 5 players, if they actually do fail, the best you can hope for is that they 0-4 all matches. Almost a guarantee that you'll get negatives somewhere if you go 2/5ths of a team.

I agree with the OP that Ace is a steal for 2 pts and should finally perform well. Hyperdub is a must-pick for 1 point imo - at the least he's going to play a few games in the GSTL. 2 pts for YuGiOh is amazing as well.
My anti-team consists of washed-out progamer Check, GuineaPig - apart from having a funny name didn't impress me at all - and Lyn (whom I haven't seen anything from in months). Thinking about it, I probably shouldn't have picked Lyn because F.U. is such a small team that he will be playing lots of games in the GSTL. Well, I'll just hope he loses all of them.

Is this the final rosters for teams? I see TheStC isn't listed for oGs, but can be chosen in the fantasy league. Does he have no chance of being sent out in the GSTL if he's not on that roster?

I picked rae goo for captain because i love watching him play and he ripped up that recent comp as well as last GSTL.
Guineapig and Seed also have done very well in previous GSTL's with 1 base play, i feel that is important in team leagues as macro games are less probable.
picked up jinro for 1 point, didnt even see him on the OGS list, but i guess he's on it. I know hes friends with MC etc, so i think hell play more than HuK at least.
I expect the europeans to do very well as they seem to be more than capible of beating code S players in other comps.
Picked MC in anti team as i feel he is off form and didnt do very well last GSTL.

4 FruitDealer FD hasnt performed really good to this date in the GSTL but he is still an ace of TSL I think. A risky choice.
5 July July will have to step it up for ST. I fear Bomber is gonna get sniped(cause everyone thinks he is awesome) and July will carry the torch for ST.
4 NaDa I love Nada and has to be the most consistent performer in the GSL in general.
8 Polt My second ace. The Daredevil Terran will suprise everyone ones again.
2 Taeja I think he is a good player for Slayers to start out with and will get some games for Slayers
2 ViOlet Extremely talented player who played Warcraft 3 and SC2 at the same time and became code S to boot...that has to be raw talent.
3 Younghwa The PvP sniper for IM. Pretty sure he is gonna be used against MC or any other dangerous Protoss and will win it.
0 FXOpen ESPORTS Gotta give this team some love. Brave for them to show up in the GSTL even though they might get trashed..Kudoos

3 Anypro Overrated player. Has very good blink micro but not impressive in other respects.
5 San Most overrated player after he got to ro4 just before the Khaydarian amulet nerf. This guy used the amulet to its fullest potential but after the patch had no clue which way to go with his play since it depended so much on the amulet. Still considered the ace for Hoso but o boy will he fall like a tree.
5 Zenio I actually think Zenio is pretty decent but I had 5 more points to spend. Not seen him perform really well though in general in code S.

Isn´t the Anit Team system kinda broken?
You can just pick only F.United players and after 5 weeks you can trade them for FXO players and you are guaranteed to get no negative points. Or am i missing something?

What's the logic behind anti team picks?
Do you score points when someone on your anti team loses?
If it's just like your team picks except in reverse then someone on your anti team showing up loses you a point and them losing gains you a point, for a net gain of zero points. Yet if they show up and win you lose 2 points. Why not just pick players that are incredibly unlikely to be played at all for your anti team?
Sorry if this is a silly question lol.

For those picking MMA, do you really think he's worth it? He is good for the 9 pts but he wont be played alot, he just comes out when they really need him and thats not alot when they have players like Min, Alicia, Ryung, Ganzi and many other good players.

3 Check I wanted to pick Keen but had to choose a zerg, picked him over RevivaL because MarineKing is still a beast in TvZ despite having only a few zergs in his teamhouse.
1 Creator Very cheap player but very promising : he has beaten Leenock and SeeD, and only lost against Mvp, Ryung and Polt.
5 GuineaPig Best random player, he can win against almost everyone.
8 MarineKing (captain) He will not reverse all-kill oGs again... but maybe just all-kill them.
8 Polt The beasts are unleashed, this time Prime will dominate.
2 Tails Cheap player but has a very good PvP, has beaten MarineKing once in a teamleague, and has qualified for code A. One of the future good protoss.
2 Yoda Him and Happy are good, but Yoda has been used more often in teamleague. Solid terran who will help IM.
3 Younghwa IM's best protoss, can snipe anyone in PvP.
4 Prime Prime for GSTL champion, and MarineKing or Polt for code S champion.
Anti Team
4 FruitDealer FruitDealer will play for sure but lose, so dunno yet if it's better to put players never used or players used who will lose.
3 Kyrix Porbably won't play often, and lose if so.
6 Trickster Same as FruitDealer.
