I put MMA on my anti-team as I don't think he plays.. And if he does, his team will already have 2 or 3 wins under their belts so he wont score many points against me before the match series is done.

I don't know where people get this illusion that everyone on SlayerS is super super gosu or something. Sure they probably have a higher average skill level than other teams that are not named IM, but past Ryung, Ganzi, Alicia, and MMA... the others are just mediocre. Taeja's all-kill was a farce, Frozen is bad, Min is their best Zerg, which says a lot, not that he's bad, but it shows how weak their Zergs are. Because that happened the first season. If there were any hidden gems on SlayerS they would have already shown their stuff by now. Another problem with SlayerS is they are not only Terran centric, but they are also vT centric. Their best Protoss' best MU is PvT. All there Terrans except MMA's best MU is TvT (MMA's is probably TvZ). BoxeR's is TvT. That's probably because of the amount of good Terrans they practice together with. So SlayerS will soon get dethroned by MVP or IM. I also believe that IM would have beaten SlayerS May season that they didn't participate in because the time that SlayerS did beat IM, Alicia took out Losira AND NesTea. Now Zergs, especially those two, are doing much, much better versus Protoss, and that wouldn't happen. Just my 2 cents on SlayerS, even if it is off-topic from the original reply lol >.<

+ Show Spoiler + ![]() - MMA is the most clutch player in GSTL. His recent win in Columbus and results in the Super Tournament make him an obvious choice. ![]() - I would've picked Clide, but I had to exchange him for the up-and-coming Keen because of point constraints. ![]() - Arguably the second-most clutch player in GSTL. If this guy follow's MMA's trend of Code A/S failure, he'll only thirst to win ace match after ace match for his team even more. ![]() - After Moon's performance in MLG and DreamHuk, he's impossible to ignore. He appears to have gone from awful to scary in the past month. Moon will probably be F.U's ace and should do well although his team may not see a lot of success. ![]() - I had 1 point left, so I wanted to pick someone with experience. I'd have taken HuK in a heartbeat, but when's the last time you saw oGs use one of their foreigners in the team league? ![]() - Yet another budget decision. Ace is probably the best 2 point player out there. ![]() - This guy almost beat MVP and has serious potential. ![]() - Another player with potential. He seems to be up and coming and is a great 1 point player. Team SlayerS - Two-time GSTL champion. Full of rising stars under the guidance of BoxeR. They can only improve. Anti-Team ![]() - Ever since the nerf to High Templar, San has been doing progressively worse in GSL. He strikes me as a player that struck rich on a metagame/balance trend and is now left adrift with his golden ticket taken away. ![]() - FruitDealer isn't the best choice for an anti-team; Choya is a much better choice, but due to point reasons he is the best 4 point choice remaining. ![]() - Maka has all but disappeared from GSL. If he sees playtime he is unlikely to cause much of a splash unless he's against a rookie on the other team that was fielded for stage experience in the opening match.

MC and Losira are proven competitors in the GSTL. At 5 points, July is a steal. I also think HuK will do well in his first GSTL opportunity. At 1 point, might as well. Keen is a great player too. Taeja and StC are more of sleeper picks. Ace is also a good player in the GSTL.

Gumiho was pretty solid in the last GSTL. I think he's also going to be used a lot after his performance. Hero is a steal. Decent Protoss and someone who just passed the brutal Code A qualifiers is a little too good to pass up. Keen is a Code S Terran. Figured that he's also going to be used frequently by MVP. I also think that he's a steal. So little points for someone who's gonna get fielded a lot and is very skilled. MMA should be a no brainer. God mode during GSTLs? Yes please. Puzzle is one of the better players in ZeNex which means that he'll be used a lot. I also have faith in him to perform well for ZeNex. qxc I feel is gonna go strong in Korea. He's most likely gonna be fielded in every team match. I also believe that his aggressive play will throw off the Koreans. Younghwa is a solid Protoss from IM. If IM needs to field a toss, he's definitely going in. Team MVP.. well we all saw what happened in the last GSTL. On that page HuK is not listed under oGs lineup. Not really surprising as he is on Liquid, but possible warning that he might not play.

Switched Thorzain for NaNiwa, since he seems to do better against Terrans over-all, and man, are there a lot of Terrans in Korea. Went for cheaper players that are likely to get a lot of play time and win points as snipers in these cases, rather than banking on single-point team points from GanZi and HuK. Anti Team 2 ![]() 5 ![]() 6 ![]() Lyn won't be playing for a while, so I can trade him if I can get antsy. I don't think he will be performing well even if he does see a lot of air time, anyway. August won't get much air time and isn't a stellar player, and Trickster is mediocre at best these days.

Main Team + Show Spoiler + Anti Team + Show Spoiler + I rebuilt my team: took some cheap P players who will get to play often, and win too. Then I went for LosirA, because of all the expensive players I think he will get to play the most - basically, the choice was between him and DRG. Two other good Zs who get things done, and a lone T in GuMiho, to finish the team.

MvP is a solid player, with amazing micro and macro, he will do perfectly in next GSTL season. Yoda knocked out Seed from GSL Code A, and he has been playing really good games. Younghwa is a solid protoss, that has shown already great skills, and will do a nice performance. ViOlet is a very nice Zerg, choose him as my Zerg player for his macro style. Ace and oldschool player, with great experience in this kind of tournaments, and his skill is no surprise to no one. Polt has shown an amazing micro, amazing macro, just dazzles me on his last games Alicia is great PvT (maybe the best in the world), could take out mC (by far the best pvp in the world), and his pvz isnt bad at all Prime.WE team will rock all in group B and maybe the whole tournament, great players, and will prepare properly i hope for next GSTL. Kietekai! Main Team 5 ![]() + Show Spoiler + Alicia is the best protoss in SlayerS team. He is really worthly pick for those 5 points. Mb i was a little bit dissapointed after his performance in last GSL supertournament against Polt, but i think he will walk over it. Will get planty of time to play in GSTL and will make all-kill or 3kill atleast. 8 ![]() + Show Spoiler + Ohh this is my money pick. He is the ace player of MVP. One of the best players in korea atm. Without him MVP would have not reach last season GSTL Finals. He simply crushed everyone. Made like 2-3 kills every game to make sure that MVP wont get out of the tournament. i guess things will be the same this season since MVP doesnt really have players who could kill like 3 persons in a row.(even 2) 4 ![]() + Show Spoiler + Picked him coz he is really good in GSTL and he showed it last season. Whithout GuMiho fOu would have been crushed every game. Since only two players in fOu keep this team on there shoulders GuMiho and sC i kept with GuMiho for his low price. 1 ![]() + Show Spoiler + He is now in code A, he costs 1 point, he beat DRG in the final, he played last season as opener for oGs. How could i not pick him? Imo he will shine in this tournament. 8 ![]() + Show Spoiler + I was making a choice between Polt and him. However i decided to pick LosirA, because he is in IM and IM prolly will win this GSTL. he will play alot because he always shows up before MVP and NESTEA. So this means he will get more points then Nestea or MVP. 2 ![]() + Show Spoiler + Everybody thinks that Twilight and Sheth will be the ace players for FXO. However in my opinion qxc will show who is the boss in this team. Showing very good performance in Code A qualification, and now then he has no studies he spends all his time playing sc2. I guess he will play alot and i think he can make even 3kill vs zenex and take few kills vs other teams. Just wait and see 1 ![]() + Show Spoiler + this pick was very hard for me. first of all i wanted to pick JJUN coz of zenex and he is one of the best players in that team. Remember 3kill vs SlayerS in the first season of GSTL. However i sticked with TSL_Smart aka TSL_JYP for his late good performance in 3D-LG tournament and for the gossips from TSL coach who said that he is really really good rising star. So i hope TSL coach will let him play. 3 ![]() + Show Spoiler + Imo best protoss in IM team. 7-2 record in GSTL. Good pick 4 MVP + Show Spoiler + I dont think mvp will make to this season finals, but they should make atleast to the semi-final coz DRG is a monster. Anti Team 3 ![]() 4 ![]() 6 ![]() If u have any suggestions feel free to say them. Looking forward for your opinions. P.s sry for bad english ![]()

+ Show Spoiler + Bomber is a powerhouse, can take on anyone at top. DongRaegu or Nestea i thought, I don't know how DRG zvz is but he performed beter in gstl over nestea. July and Nada at 5 and 4 is a steal. Puma is gosu you guys don't understand. Creator from prime, great player, good games from past, expect to see him. Violet and ace, code s material, 2 pnts, expect to see them play. Lyn, and rainbow for anti what more can i say. Now oGsTop, i think he's an averge player not great, 5 points, overkill.

Bitters Main Team + Show Spoiler + Anti Team + Show Spoiler + And the reasoning: + Show Spoiler + Ace - For 2 points, Ace is a great bet. StarTale often rely on him as their top protoss, and he has generally succeeded in the team leagues. Honestly, I don't think he's an unbelievably strong player, however he is one of the ST members that will be relied on to win games. Byun - In a way, Byun is ZENEX's ace, and should often be relied upon by ZENEX, thus in this respect I'm betting on him in that any ZENEX wins will most likely be attributable to this man. DongRaeGu (C) - Because Don Rage U! MVP's Ace, has a great record and I believe will do well in the team league, especially as he will not be (unfortunately) distracted by the regular Code A/S season. GuineaPig - I typically tried to get a few from each team, however as a Random player you've got to fan GuineaPig. I also have a large expectation that MVP will use him often and that he will often take surprise wins and back up for #2. Hero - the oGs team's best card is undoubtedly MC, however with Hero now mixing into Code A I believe that oGs will play Hero often to draw out Protoss snipers and secure MC as an ace more easily. For 1 point, he's an excellent option. sC - In the same way I chose Byun and DRG as ZENEX and MVP's ace, sC is the FoU ace and will be relied upon to take off games. Add into the fact that I'm a fan of his play, and rated him highly before he did anything to Nestea. Taeja - Did well in last Team League, and with all the SlayerS terrans and MMA on a hot streak and on the "snipe this guy" list, Taeja and Ryung might see a lot more action. I went with Taeja for the 2 point cost mainly. Youngwha - Because IM will have to use a Protoss player some times, and if so this guy is the pick. I generally wanted an IM player, and MVP/Nestea/Losira are all too expensive hehe. Expect with a more regular season, non ace players will see more screentime, in which case IM Protoss players are a good choice to make an impression. Team MVP - Was won over by their runner up run last season and expect big things from them. I still think SlayerS look far too strong for their own good, so in a way I see MVP as the underdog. And as an Australian with tall poppy syndrome, I love me an underdog. Ganzi - Anti-teamed because I don't actually think he'll get used often. With all the SlayerS terrans around, Ganzi can be overshadowed by MMA and Ryung's TvT. Not to say he's not a strong player, in fact I think Ganzi has real potential to close in on MMA's level, I expect he just won't get used often. InCa - With the same thought as Ganzi above, oGs already have MC as their protoss hero, and will most likely use Hero again to draw out Protoss snipers, so not expecting much InCa usage even though he is the ultimate PvP master. NaDa - The problem with oGs is that they have so many members that any of them on the anti-team is a good bet. Unfortunately, I do think NaDa will be used a little, however I often see oGs flaunt their Terran choices on TOP and Supernova, and potentially Hyperdub and TheStC in the upcoming season. In a way, he's a little bit of a risky anti-team bet solely on that he'll rarely be used.
