Actually if you look at the schedules, it seems that SaSe probably won't join the team, unless he stays for 2 seasons. Quoting from the MLG announcement: "Dignitas.Naniwa and MouzThorzain will be competing in GSL Code A August and will also participate in the August GSTL" It looks like GSL are pushing back the MLG seeds 1 season to accommodate Naniwa and Thorzain's schedule. Which leads to the third seed. The MLG announcement says that the player has accepted his seed but they haven't announced it yet. I'm just speculating, but could it be that this player is Sheth and the reason they're not announcing him yet is that they want to work out the details of his seed? Does he get seeded into GSL July (since FXO play then)? Or does he get seeded into GSL August (since the other seeds are going that month)? Definitely should wait on more details, but it's just interesting, as if they push back the seeds by 1 season, it should make a spot available for the winner of MLG Columbus to get the Code S seed in GSL August (and the winner of Anaheim takes the seed in GSL October). *shrug* Ignoring both of our speculation... don't you think GSL would confirm that they have enough players willing to participate before letting them in or making this annoucement? Don't really get what exactly you're referring to, but even with 5 players on F. United, they should be able to play even the Bo9 finals (although there was an 8 player limit before, which probably was relaxed for them). You only need 5 players in the finals, which is the bare minimum. I would guess GSL are trying to get that number to increase though.

6 is not enought. 9 people needed in final

YES GSTL is the most exciting format of competition atm, making it a more regular thing can only mean it'll be awesome!!

See GSTL 1, 2 and 3 finals and count how many players played for each team.
And even if they changed it to the Proleague style, usually you only need 8 players, with the 9th match being an Ace match allowing you to repick another player to play again.

Soccer doesn't really play SC2 so they are only left with 4. There has to be atleast 1 more player joining them.

I hope Thorzain's GSL team does well in this coming GSTL.

Ironically lost to Moon in the second last round before Moon himself lost to TopClassfOu. I remember, because I was compiling information for the live updates for the qualifier thread. EDIT: Also, WMF could start recruiting for their "Warcraft 3 (read: SC2)" team to expand it and if SaSe was joining the team, I think GSL would have announced it.

Yeah, the feeling I get from the WMF players is that they are really splitting their time hardcore and that they only surface when GSL qualifications come nearer.

I had to geek out on this.
Thursday is derived from Thor's Day. The Roman's equated the Thor with Jupiter (lightning Gods).
Friday is derived from Freyja's Day, who as the Goddess of Love, the Roman's equated with Venus.
Oh ya, I was going to comment on what a good move this was going to be for We Made Fox. I wonder if they were always planning on 'adopting' the foreigners from the exchange program.
I saw in some old interviews that they were hoping to build up the team to give Moon, Lyn, Soccer some practice partners instead of having them fend for themselves by making friends with all the other pro-houses.

this looks massively awesome
can't wait

This is how GSTL was meant to look; very happy to see the team leagues twice a week.
Group A is looking really strong, especially because the bottom three teams according to rank (MVP, Prime, F.United) all should perform well in the team league format. TSL is actually one of the weaker teams in the group, so that says a lot. The most obvious prediction is to look for Slayers to stay hot.
Group B could be extremely competitive, but this hinges largely on NS and FXO staying with the pack and not falling to bottom. With NesTea and MVP, look for IM to stay on top of the leaderboard all season long. Hopefully the other teams' strategies evolve and coaches focus on preparing snipers to take games off of the two IM superstars.

Actually in CJKV language, people use sun, moon, fire, water, tree, metal, soil to indicate sunday, monday,tuesday,.... And yes, they do call Jupiter literally tree planet, Mars = fire planet,.v.v.v.. That's why Thursday actually means day of tree, Friday means day of metal, not Jupiter and Venus. But yeah, Gom really knows how to word play though.:D
There're so many games, so little time GSTL ftw!!!!

I really like the combination of Jupiter and Venus leagues, that seeds 1&3 from one and 2 from other are bracketed together for the finals. This should hopefully prevent a "semi-finals are the real finals" scenario.

Format is like winner's league for sure, right? I hope so.
