Moon, Machine, TT1 and Sushi are just waste of invites and they won't win a single bo3. I haven't seen much of MaNa since last DH so I don't know if he could take games of the earlier invites.

Jesus christ, why do you include Moon in this list. He does well at EVERY tourney that he's invited in, he's playing great, there is 0, 0 reason at all to say this, it's ridiculous.
Why is he a ''waste" of an invite, what about Tyler? I'm not saying Tyler is bad but lately Moon has showed soooo much more. Also Machine & TT1 are decent players.
Sushi is ofcourse unknown, but what was MaNa back then? Indeed, keep in mind that Benelux qualifierd usually bring up some talent, I believe Grubby was one back in the days in W3.

I just find it ridiculous that people are "dissing" Moon, while he is way better than most of the people that are heralded.

Anyways, I really like these invites, can't see any of them disappoint.
Maybe Sushi, but I have high expectations !
It appears I have been chosen.

So glad NonY made the cut, got a feeling it's going to be a huge boost and motivation for him, and might just be the one where he really shines this year!

Also glad Machine is invited, think he deserves and will do well whit the opportunity presented (hope they invite Incontrol so they can pair them, and he can finally get to Europe)!

Love the casters and the number of streams, going to watch the one whit best games, but most excited for TB, Day9 and glhf (if it's Elaine and Gunrun).

So, are you a pessimist? - On my better days. Are you a nihilist? - Not as much as I should be.

I was thinking the same thing. Would love to see marine king prime in some foreign events or nestea, Weird that they never get invited.

But lol dreamhack, out macros mlg, 5 streams to 2. :D. how many players totally in the tourney? Hopefully thorzain will be there.

Moon is not in Code A or S, so his schedule is more free from GSL (and GSTL since FOX doesn't get a spot). Plus, this may be surprising, but Moon is a HUGE draw due to his WC3 dominance.

My point is it's not about country of origin but more about team, mouz > empire.

This is pretty ridiculous, Moon and Machine both did very well at MLG and TT1 is considered a good player. Sushi is meh but it does say that their sponsor requested it so yeah.

Plus he is a very good player. Sure he got knocked out of the highest level tournament in the world but can anybody remember how close he was to getting into code S? I believe that both of his games to qualify were 2-1 and very close, he then was just one bo3 away from being out of code A and since then has been participating in mostly foreign tournament. People don't seem to be realise that just because he isn't playing in the GSL he is still a good player.

Exactly, just like with Leenock, they were close as hell to code S, they didn't make it, and then it's one bo3. Admittedly Leenock had the more difficult group, but he hasn't shown anything else while Moon has.
It appears I have been chosen.

Moon does ok in overseas tournaments, but I'm guessing the issue is more that they'd rather see a more established korean instead of him. As for Machine, he's been doing rather poorly in both the NASL (1-7) and MLG (2-4).

Then again, you want a decent geographical representation, which means bringing more americans then just idra, not to mention having former legends (like moon) helps a tournament loads. There'll always be whining about invites, so yea, just deal with it. Limited spots, too many players, and the decision falls to the tournament.
