That pie chart is odd indeed. Maybe some Korean teams thought it was an 8-man tournament like the DH Invitational and withdrew their applicaions once they found out it was a 50-man tournament? It doesn't make much financial sense for them to go unless their travel expenses are covered considering the prize money isn't that great in relation to the competition. Or maybe the last invites are all Koreans and it will be the best tournament in the history of Starcraft 2. | ||

Indeed, it's rather MLG that's trying to catch up. MLG sure had great caster combos though, but TotalBiscuit is awesome.
