In the same light, all the criteria I felt the clip adheres to don't make it another particular thing either. I just think it's not ok to just claim that it was from something. Especially since so many people, me included, don't actually get it. So yes maybe I'm totally wrong, but I even consulted google and youtube to find clips of this joke, and all I found was a qoute of the Office Space, where indeed TPS reports are mentioned, yet there is no other similarity. To add, a TPS report is an actual defined thing. It's not something made up and therefore also isn't exclusive to some kind of comedic setting. Woah i think you are looking way too deep into a very minor part of the commercial... That being said... at least to Americans, the idea of a TPS report is deeply associated with the movie Office Space, which has become a giant cult classic.

Any reference to TPS reports is a reference to Office Space

I totally missed that joke (as seems a significant number of other people did). Maybe I'm just weird but the thought of diamond being used in ram isn't absurd to me. They have uses as heat sinks and semiconductors. I'm not an expert so don't know how they fare compared to conventional technologies, how much is needed and what the price for industrial diamonds are so it doesn't seem impossible (just as gold is used in RAM). Anyway gz to incontrol. At least it wasn't terrible annoying and I noticed the product, so by that standard it already beats 95% of other commercials out there.
