Office Space is from 1999. The Office has been airing for 7 seasons in the US alone. Also what someone said earlier. That guy does look exactly like BJ.Novak. The Intro, with the wobbly camera, taking a "scenic" shot of the office. It's like the parking space. And there is no actual punchline, it's like "dry" humor. Which is exactly what would be the one typical The Office thing. Edit: Also the bland phone rings in the otherwise silent background, looking into the camera with a reaction expressing. I liked it, hope there's follow ups. Says episode 1 in the title :O | ||

The TPS Reports joke was a spook from the movie Office Space. If TPS Reports were ever mentioned in the TV show series The Office, it was also because of Office Space. | ||

Especially since so many people, me included, don't actually get it. So yes maybe I'm totally wrong, but I even consulted google and youtube to find clips of this joke, and all I found was a qoute of the Office Space, where indeed TPS reports are mentioned, yet there is no other similarity. To add, a TPS report is an actual defined thing. It's not something made up and therefore also isn't exclusive to some kind of comedic setting. | ||
