Not really, 3 days every 2 months or whatever plus a relatively small prize pool. July rolled through so many BoX and didn't even come out with anything. It was great to watch of course but they really are two completely different tournaments. They'd need to broadcast it in Korean/Chinese too and whatnot. A lot of things would have to change.

Fandom in sports (and now e-sports) is a cornerstone of American culture, but the hyper-manner of the Koreans would get in the way of the excitement of the matches. Wow are you serious? have you ever seen a high profile BW game?

BTW After the IMG & MLG partnership Sundance was posting alot on his facebook about MLG having events around the world including Seoul South Korea. Sundance had to delete his Facebook after too much spam, But man I'm so stoked for the next MLG announcement and their plans for world expansion!

"I don't know if it's because of Koreans vs the World or the games or the observers but this is 100 times better than the GSL. Great day for MMA. Great day for Korea!" Double elim will always make the end of the tourney way better, or else you get shit like Nestea vs Inca ![]()
