But PLEEEEAAAASSSSE MLG, fix your stream problems, and try to get more casters so that we can choose between more games. With all of these awesome games going on, I don't want one hour waits in between games. If you fix these problems, MLG could become the best foreign tournament ever!!!

Personally, I hope this won't be the case, as getting 7th, 6th or even 5th at a MLG is definitely relatively easier than getting thru the Code A qualifiers

Add in things like IPL and NASL starting to give away big prizes and I actually can't help but think a lot of the NA/EU players playing in those would turn the Code S and Code A down because korea is largely a difficult place for a foreign pro player to make a living. Players who have good team financial backing being the exception such as the liquid guys. Flip side the koreans show up for a weekend, gain an advantage over all foreigners in the open brackets, can take home the top prize in a 3 day stay and head back to korea and not even miss competing in the GSL. Fans will like the idea a ton, I think in practice however it won't be nearly as appealing for NA/EU players as it will be for Korean players. Whether or not it will help grow the western esports scene is anyones guess.

Does this mean the 3 invites could be people who aren't even in the top 8... ![]()

We will have to see how this will work out but I think this will somewhat soften up and maybe even bridge the borders between the "foreigner scene" and the korean one. Also it will raise more awareness for foreign tournaments in the korean scene. I dont see how any bad can come from that and if MlG fixes the technical issues which I am sure they have been working on like crazy. I must say, that I am pretty pretty looking forward to columbus ^.^

Assuming you spend a month in korea and win a code A you get about 1300 dollars minus all the living expenses costs...which basically makes leaving to go play code A not all that valuable. Assuming you were willing to spend a month to compete in Code S, you could potentially make out, but you could just as easily not. I wonder how the automatic placement into code S will work. As in who are they bumping out, or are they expanding the code S pool to 33 players?

Having driven from Columbus to Chicago many times in my life, it is indeed around six hours, depending if you're closer to Wisconsin it's almost seven, or closer to Indiana it's like five and a half.

Bomber is probably the tournament favorite now Oh, and also...if the tournament winner gets automatic Code S....which current Code S player is losing his seed?
