I guess, everybody just assumed this.
In fact, he doesn't mention EG once in his application vid.
I think he was never signed as a SC2 player.

very sad. He's been improving very quickly and I'd expect him to be a pretty strong force in the SC2 competitive scene once he gets some more time into the game. One of the nicest people out there and a true professional gamer in every sense of the term, best of luck to you Grubby!

There was no announcement that he was on the SC2 team to begin with. He was paid by them to play WC3, they might have asked him if he wanted to sign onto the team and he declined or they declined what he wanted. It is a bad time for this news to come out.

Mouse or Liquid , think both of them fit him pretty well , and have top players for him to train with.
Never seen him in WC3 but i love his stream and track his games on SC2Casts , definetely a fan of his play.

Fair point. That pretty much negates that argument.
I still stand by the fact that nothing has been said about him joining a new team for MLG tomorrow.
Someone paid for Grubby to go to Dallas. Whoever paid for it wants him to wear their shirt with all their sponsors on it if only for that one event that they paid for. If EG paid they would have waited until after Dallas to say something. If someone else paid, they would have been sure to announce his change before Dallas happened.
I could be wrong, but we'll know for sure when Grubby shows up for Dallas.
