IP ban wont do anything, you can merely shut off all your pc's and restart your modem, or request a new dns. Besides why would blizzard do that? If he's got multiple accounts he can buy more, and will, and thats all income. It takes 1minute to change your IP.

That's exactly what hackers are, assholes. They probably post pictures of their perfect records and laugh at responses in threads like these

What's the point of this? There is nothing to be gained from winning a bunch of SC2 games, and even if it's some misguided attempt at inflating the ol' e-peen, now everyone knows he's a hacker... *sigh* I hope Blizzard can somehow keep SC2 free of all this shit. Edit: So for my own curiosity I did a search to find out how common these sorts of exploits are, and stumbled upon the hacker from the OP's post where he releases his hack publicly. Apparently there are entire communities of gamers who just hack games and lol... mod edit: link 1984'd User was warned for this post

I was in a 4v4 RT game where one guy does nothing but minimap ping grief the entire team all game while idling his base. And he's played over 500 team games where he's done this. The "report player" feature is worthless and Blizzard doesn't even pay attention to it. One week isn't slow...its better than Blizzard simply banning every single person who gets reported. Better to be too slow than to be too fast.

I hate to be hating on Blizzard this but bugs like this are very amateurish at this level of game design. Making it a protected function would be a better solution than rate limiting in an rts. Though the hackers would just try to edit it but how I'd protect it would just make that pointless. ![]()

Like someone else said, better too late than too early, or people would get banned for no reason, like the person in your case. People are always going to be annoying, hacking is something different altogether. Hope this guy gets banned, hacking is lame.

There are quite a few smurf accounts that have 30-0 and beyond records, including some that I've studied, and those wins were earned through legitimate means. The proof of hacking here is the spam of messages in the screenshot combined with the abnormally short game durations in his match history which results in the high amount of wins. Don't mean to nitpick, but there are actually zero accounts with 30-0 and beyond records... at least in regions that are actually competitive. It's just odd to see a banling spreading misinformation saying there are "quite a few" when there are zero. PiLLaGe actually has the best win ratio in the US/EU/KR right now. I'm sure some pros can obtain such a record through legitimate means, but no one has actually done it yet. I'm just gonna keep this in this post since it's off topic but On March 11 2011 10:59 Geovu wrote: HuK on his korean account had an obscene amount of wins before his first loss, which was a PvP where he lost to DTs lol. I hope you know having an uncertainty of 20 wins probably means you don't really remember at all.
