Because of this thread:
http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=197538

I am inspired to start this thread listing all of the most epic SC2 games. I believe that SC2 is much more fun, dynamic, and enjoyable to watch, and as such I think we already have some pretty epic games.

I'll start with the most epic of all.

PixtaR vs SCAnemone

TTOne vs MasterAsia

At first I was going to say the second video was just a lame base trade... until I saw the spire/spawningpool into sneaky extractor shenanigans.

First video isn't too epic though. That one game where the zerg player proxy hatches in the enemy's base on lost temple is pretty cool, forgot where to find it.

I'd watch saying too much on if SC2 is better or worse though :p

What about that one game on meta with like 30 nydus worms all over the map?
How does it feel knowing you wasted another 3 seconds of your life reading this again?

TLO vs nazgul
Haypro vs some korean T, casted by khaldor in german, it's on his youtube channel I think
TLO vs White-Ra, some beta event where he spawned as Z on SS. It ended in a base trade.
g1 of TLO vs oGs Hyperdub, GSL1 I think ?

I didn't, I just said better to spectate. Chalk it up to newer graphics

so what exactly makes game 1 a "pro" game??

if you got epic games otherwise, show them. Preferably a game worth to be on youtube.

Zaphid, link the games? I know the first one.

The proxy isn't too epic but the massive comeback by Catz is pretty cool.

Well, if you take the other thread as example, op, at least live up to his standards.

Cool.

From the SC1 thread:

I'd love to see HuK~'s mothership rush! Even though it failed it's famous and worth a look I think.
Huk actually did this at least twice (in games that counted for something):

Huk vs. Drewbie (finals, gosucoaching tournament)

HuK vs. SeleCT - MLG DC 2010

The post I quoted was thinking of the second game. I can't vouch for the quality of the commentary on either YouTube video.

The more recent games between Kiwikaki and Machine is quite amazing. I can't remember what series it was but:

Game 1: Kiwikaki does a flying, +1 Korean 4Gate cannon rush.

Game 2: I don't even want to spoil it, but involves crazy blink stalker and mothership moves.

This thread is about 1000x less well structured and organised than the other one. If you're going to imitate, at least put in something at least approaching the same amount of effort, or just don't bother.

Today's game played between Liquid`Tyler and MVPVenus on Scrap Station. He said he'll be releasing that replay to someone soon.

Any game staring ROOTCatz is usually pretty unusual, and generally it's pretty sick.

My favorite one has been the epic game v pokebunny on Mr. Bitter's show a few weeks ago

I think both videos in the original post don't belong in here, just like most of the other videos posted. Like the SC1 equivalent, this thread should be about matches in professional tournaments (GSL, IEM, MLG, NASL, ...), not about battle.net or random online cups. Those usually aren't taken seriously, there's too little at stake. I personally don't enjoy watching 'super-incredible games' if it's obvious that the players aren't trying their best but want to have some fun.

I'd suggest creating a separate thread dedicated to the most amazing SC2 matches played, disregarding their origin, and establishing clear guidelines for this one.

WHy is this thread labelled "unusual" pro games, instead of "epic" pro games. unless for an sc2 game to be epic is has to be unusual?
