Hey guys,
This is desRow from VTGaming. I decided to post a replay pack of myself for the community to enjoy. I don't consider myself a top player but It is definitely my goal to reach that status and I hope the level of game play satisfy you guys.
Here is my Replay pack containing
6 PvP
13 PvT
4 PvZ
and most replays are from ladder games but I still have some replays from tournaments
against Blur for Justin TV invitational
against NOVAStalife for GO4SC2 #21
against vVv.NGry for GO4SC2 #21
and 1 off race game where some crazy stuff happens =P

Just wanted to drop in and say its amusing to see you in sc2 because your name popped up here and there when I played comp dota. Its fun to see dota players I played with/against in tournies do well in sc2.
Did you know giX? When he played for FF and I guess DoP later on? I'm fairly certain the high ranked player on sc2 is the same guy. So weird for me to see that lol.

i auctally had the chance to obs some of this guy's game. he quite good and quite a fun player, i have a lot of respect for this guy and VT in general.

a win is a win and you need to know all different kinds of builds or else your not as big as a threat

I did 1gate proxy follow up with a stalker and 4gate. It might be considered cheese but it was lost temple and drops are annoying as hell. I lost game 1 because I let some random obs obs the game and he made the game lag and I couldn't drop a single forcefield when I went 3 gate expo with sentry heavy army composition. After that first game, I went into the bo3 with a 0-1 deficit. I went void rays on meta because it was close position and Terran is favoured in such position. I find sad that your team I am a gimmicky player because I'm really not and I hope I can prove you wrong soon enough. Besides, I asked for no obs but Stalife was so nice that I let your entire team obs. I really don't get why you're taking a low blow at me. I hold no grudges with anyone on Col. Have a good day sir !

I gas steal for extra information. I can poke back in my probe to see if they go 1-1-1 or 2racks and if they dont kill it they go 2racks all in with no expo if they kill in they go 2 racks fe (or what ive seen so far =P) A lot of good players gas steal like Nv.xiaot and naniwa (not totally sure about the latter)

I think what mirhi was trying to say here is that in tournament, I might pull a cheese or two if its bo3/bo5 just because standard play all the time can backfire. And there's some really crappy maps that standard play puts you at disadvantage against certain races. And by unknown he probably meant that the complexity folks weren't too familiar with me.

scrap station against zerg because it's hard to take a third but if you do a 2 base timing push and the zerg isn't prepared it can be more easy because there is a lot of chokes.
scrap station against terran because they can kill the rocks and have a really short distance rush and drops and banshees are really effective, vikings have a ez time against collosus also.
lost temple against terran because drops on your cliff at your expansion is very annoying
i don't mind the other maps even steppe and delta can be quite annoying.

I don't know if I'm the only one who would like to see thsi, but I'd love to see a replay pack of a bunch of ladder games in a row, win/lose, short/long, cheese/standard, whatever -- thats what really helps me to see "why did he choose X response"

Maybe my micro is just terrible (it's certainly not the best anyway), but players who are really good at pulling injured scvs and stutter stepping their marines beat me pretty badly.
Also, although people say that pulling scvs to kill the gateway is bad, I've seen Murder beat this rush (against OptikZero, who imo is pretty good at micro/executing this build) by placing his first rax so that the protoss can't place more than their first gateway on the highground, then sending just enough scvs to kill the gateway before the zealot finishes. Assuming you practice against this build a lot, I don't think there is any way for a protoss to prevent this from happening.

It is rediculous how much I have learned from your replays. Some very significant games, as well as entertaining. I eagerly await the next pack, and hope there a many more after that.
