When down from his ramp, there arose such a clatter; Grack pulled off 4 drones to see what was the matter. Away down his ramp, they flew like a flash; Only to meet a hellion, and be turned into ash. Marines on the ramp, yelling GO GO GO; Grack had to move quick, before the bunker finished below. When after stalling and stalling, Oh my, Oh dear; 5 roaches popped out THEY WERE FINALLY HERE! With his A-key a clicking Grack killed all the rines, but behind were marauders, that Grack hadn't seen! The marauders were mean that was very true, but with roaches came lings, it's like Grack already knew! With his drones still alive and his base still intact, he began to prepare for a late game attack. Spending larvae on drones, Grack thought to himself - "a non-macro game, is bad for my health". He morphed in his lair and expanded with ease, as the mid game progressed he could do as he pleased. A muta harass was the best way to win, he sent them to the worker line with a grin. this is amazing very well written can you post the link to the reddit thread that it is posted in, i'm hoping to find more awesomeness like this as the day goes on

Wish I had taken the time to format it that way, it is much better. Also Can't believe I didn't realize toi wasn't a typo. Learn somethin everyday on these internets. :-P
ahh cute, nice haha. I was thinking about making a christmas song into starcraft theme, but I came up with writers block at the end and never got to finish it. Maybe tonight if I get bored!

However, the OP really needs the reddit link in the first post. You can't just say "stolen from reddit with care" -- that's one step away from giving no credit. You might as well say "search for it on Google."

Photoshop, it said something in Korean originally. He was there cheering on one of the guys on his team I think.

In my opinion, either of these two endings would have been much better suited for the poem:
i. "The terran was mad. He said "Zerg is OP", and left the game without a gg." ii. "He closed out the game with his usual grace, and made sure the his opponent apologized for his race."
Nonetheless, splendid poem for such a joyous occasion. <3

im glad everyone is enjoying this. i wrote about 5-6 lines of this, only to come back from work and find like 12-13 more lines and a finished polished version with a version done by TB. i love the SC2 community!!!!
I actually didn't know "salve" rhymed with "have", I've never used the word in speech and never heard anyone else use it either. I just assumed it rhymed with valve.

I never undetstood why Idra is still held in high regard in the Sc2 forums. He is the classical BW elitist and even said in various interviews/on stream that he only cared about “the real game“. I always remember this one:
To make it clear: im not gonna stir up “Sc2 vs BW“ BS here. Im just curious about this tidbit. Can a stout idra fan help me out here? Thx.

I vividly remember the heated debates we had on TL in both forums on the subject. But i agree to what you say. It feels to me the true fans of both games are the ones still playing them. The people who felt the urge to compare and compete have left broodwar long ago and by now have left Sc2. So we can just agree that both games are great but very different.
