But why! why! did you have to use a iPhone layout!? Android doesnt use a Back button at the top.. it actually has its own hardware button to go back :/ I'm a developer myself (app has more then 50.000 downloads and over 80% active users) and i kinda hate apps that dont update itself for the Android interface and use the (not working) iphone interface.. Yea, I'm aware of this ![]() Well, the interface itself works pretty good. Its smooth, and although the color isnt really my preference (greenish?). The thing kinda is, that everything is done in a iphone way. Almost all (if not all) Android Phones have a Search button. Its a Google developer guideline that if your application supports search, you should implement it with the Search button. So it shows an overlay with the regular search bar but integrated in your own app. A bit like spotlight on the iPhone but now integrated with the App itself. Also i would move the Tab's to the top, the Tab control in Android doesnt really support a bottom down tab, which you can see because of the small white line at the bottom where there would normally be the Activity's itself. Combine that with the fact that every other App (which follows the UI guidelines) has it at the top as well. The same goes for the > icon on all the different rows, Android has its own > icon (expander_ic_minimized). Also the differientating color rows have a Android standard as well, its included on one of the styles, a light and dark version. Dont forget, for a Android user it will be intuative to use the menu button to select more options, the menu button is ingrained in the system everywhere, so you could move the top buttons to menu options. Although you might argue that takes one more button press, it is the way every other app in Android works. Now dont get me wrong, the app itself is AWESOME. Like the other guys, i would gladly pay around €2,00 for a Ads Free version. Just as a developer and Addicted Android user (I have more then 5 devices with Android ![]() ![]() Not sure who developed this, but I have alot of experience as an Android developer. So if you need any help with the XML's for the design or Java coding wise, drop me a message.

"<Unknown> www.youtube.com Cannot download. The content is not supported on the phone" I'm a total Androidnoob, but I'd figure I would want to download an app to help with the file format, but I don't know what file format it has problem with, and why. EDIT: I am using a HTC Magic. EDIT EDIT: Figured it out, if anyone else has the same problem, it lays in that I did not use the Youtube application as default for opening that kind of streaming file. So what I had to do is reset my default, which was the browser. I did this by following these googled steps: 1. Go to the Home screen. 2. Select the Menu key. 3. Select Settings. 4. Select Applications. 5. Select Manage applications. 6. Select the application that you wish to clear the defaults for. 7. Scroll down to the Launch by default section and select the Clear defaults button. 8. ??????? 9. Profit! EDITEDITEDIT: Awesome app, lovin' it!
