Why on earth would someone name himself Excrement, that's just highly disturbing.

Especially disturbing since this guy currently sits on #1 world in sc2ranks o_O

I could see Artosis being there, he did manage to qualify for a GSL. I'd assume he ladders alot as well as he is aways pretty up to date on the recent ladder trends of the past week.

Why progamers play on ladder vs random races on random maps, when they can practice special MU with training partners?

I could see Artosis being there, he did manage to qualify for a GSL.

So did Goldenfou (maka-hatchery vs squirtle into evolution chamber into queen into epic fail) and Sanzenith (forge first expos vs check into mass-cannons into roaches running into his base into epic fail).

Don't think Artosis is currently on top 200 level although he has definitely proven to be still capable of playing on a pretty high level.

more diversity. Practice partners are good but gives you no variety really. If you stayed in your "bubble" you could stagnate really fast. Not to mention sure you can get your partner to do x strat but his reaction to your counter will be different then your opponent in a tournament.

Also they can play 12 hrs a day. So changing it up will stop from getting bored earlier

Actually it's the opposite. Training with a partner is the fastest way to progress, if you stay on ladder for too long you could stagnate really fast.
I think they play on ladder because a training partner isn't always available.

uh, did you even look at the list?

and i believe pro gamers ladder to see what people are doing. if you play the same 3 guys every time in practice games, chances are they are doing the same or a similar strategy each game.

if you lose in ladder you can view the replay and find out what you did wrong against a strategy you've never seen.

but still playing with a practice partner i believe is still a really good way to get better,

LOL.

Please define what is a good player then if MarineKingPrime is not considered good.

i guess that means (since you use GSL as source) only the winners of GSL are considered good players and rest are just scrubs, right?
