I think the problem is there's like 7 tracks going at once for the majority of the song, and it just sounds bad to me.

Jealousy. They aren't crafty enough to come up with something creative and interesting for the community so they have to belittle someone elses. If you notice 70% of the negative criticism is coming from posters with bad attitudes and anger problems...probably something related to childhood.

Actually, I'm just going to say this because I think it'd shed some light.
This is the first song in a long time that I haven't listened to over speakers to check levels. Usually my headphones are enough, but apparently, according to the minority, it's not good enough.

When I get some time tomorrow, I'll crank up my speakers and subwoofer and see what it's like, but I'm listening to it through a pair of Sennheiser HD435 headphones and noticing only minimal tearing. I have better headphones to test it with (trust me, I used every pair while making this song like some sort of OCD fuelled maniac) but I'm sorry if I'm cutting out a wave of people.

But that's if I am at all. At the moment, all I'm doing is justifying points at where the song has flaws. It's not fun, but at least it gives you all insight. Aside from that, the "static", as it's called, is stylistic. Can't please everyone.

I don't know if it's reasonable to assume I was referring to abuse. Was more referring to the attitude of some of the naysayers btw, not the opinion itself.
