I'm glad I'm not alone noticing... yeah I've tried all resolutions, but the poor quality is persistent (I use audiophile grade sound card with studio monitors). if this broken speaker sound is by design, it's a pretty bad design choice imho.

Ahhhh, a real question. I use Logic Pro on the Mac to mix everything down. My input device is an M-Audio Firewire 410. I have a few guitars that I use. An Ibanez GAX30 and a Swift Bass guitar. The Microphone is a Rode NT1a and I seriously need a pop filter.

Dude, it's not all about Tasteless. It's about Artosis as well. I should know, I've been watching GomTV for the past 2-3 years... Honestly, I don't mind if people don't buy it. The option is there to, but there's also the option to just download it for free. I'm not providing a service, I just like making music. If I could get ad revenue, that would do fine, but I don't and there's no reason for me to be greedy.
The internet is accustomed to free music downloads and if I were to make the song BUY ONLY then someone would just download it and throw it up on Mediafire anyway. Buying the song is literally just a donation for me to keep going. Nothing more. If you like it, buy it. If you want it for free, it's right there. If you don't like it, keep thumbing down until someone makes the obligatory comment "Artosis/Sean/BoxeR/Jaedong/Leenock all came here and got jealous!".

Nick has been my favorite commentator for forever now. I watched every season of the old Classic and distinctly remember Nick casting all by himself with nearly no support from GOM in front of a cold doorway during Season 1 of the Classic. I still watch those games sometimes. It's nostalgic.
Anyway, things have changed a lot since then! Nice to see him get a retardedly catchy theme song. It fits him perfectly. Trust me.

Clearly it is in meant in a funny way, not in him genuinely getting sexually excited or having knowledge of Tasteless' penis (at least I assume so). And even if the author had homoerotic feelings for tasteless, then so what? It might be creepy in a stalker sort of way, but so would it if a female expressed such feelings without having met tasteless at all (assuming the author hasn't). The sc community is usually quite tolerant of showing affection even among males, and joking around with it is common. We have threads dedicated to nada's body, reach's manliness (we have many of these), the attractiveness of eg members, progaming teams dressing up as girls and performing shows, etc. Artosis and Tasteless often jokes about having a "crush" on certain players (clide, jinro, etc.), or each other. If you are uncomfortable at implied homosexual thoughts, then I doubt the sc community is for you.
Anyway nice job with the song to the author. Really catchy with good lyrics. Even in the downloaded song it sounds a bit as if it's played at a too high volume which is a shame as the song has great potential and you're clearly skilled at this. Despite this however I have downloaded and added it to my playlist as it's still a great song.

Its horrible and very embarrassing like all the starcraft 2 songs. I m so shocked sometimes about the bad musik taste some people have and i fear for my beloved esport when i hear it on streams and stuff. Its simply not good for the game :/

Actually, I'm just going to say this because I think it'd shed some light. This is the first song in a long time that I haven't listened to over speakers to check levels. Usually my headphones are enough, but apparently, according to the minority, it's not good enough.
When I get some time tomorrow, I'll crank up my speakers and subwoofer and see what it's like, but I'm listening to it through a pair of Sennheiser HD435 headphones and noticing only minimal tearing. I have better headphones to test it with (trust me, I used every pair while making this song like some sort of OCD fuelled maniac) but I'm sorry if I'm cutting out a wave of people.
But that's if I am at all. At the moment, all I'm doing is justifying points at where the song has flaws. It's not fun, but at least it gives you all insight. Aside from that, the "static", as it's called, is stylistic. Can't please everyone.

Fantastic song. Really enjoyed the lyrics but I also enjoyed it as a stand-alone as a tune as well, I'm not sure why people are calling it 'creepy' but I guess it's just a culture clash between countries perspectives on humour towards "bromance".

Edit: People talking about quality should download it. It takes less or the same time as loading the 720P video and is 320 kbps (highest you can go with MP3s). It sounded great to me, and the only "bad" parts were just because I was listening to it on my laptop speakers since I didn't want to have to wait to hook it up in order to hear the awesomeness.

Custom channel settings for most shit. Perfect Voice/2 just means that my microphone boosts itself about 5db and filters out background noise at the same time so the voice is a bit more punchy.
I mad. But at least I don't auto-tune the shit out of my voice. It's not a parody, it's an original song. If I was trying to be Kanye, sure. But I'm not. I'm just a guy who's trying to get better at singing all the time and avoids technological advances to do so.

Ridiculously catchy hook you've got there, and AWESOME lyrics. The best thing about is I think the phrasing (what a weird thing to complement, but seriously I noticed); none of the phrases felt "square," they were all incredibly dynamic and interesting. A great talent in a lead vocal.

How often do you come by original content that's got quality behind it. The guy put a lot of time and effort into this. I'd be butthurt too.
I would NOT have bought GOM's season pass had it not been for Mr .Tasteless (and Artosis). The games are good but when I think of GOM the first thing that comes to mind is them. They really make watching those games a fulfilling experience.

I don't think I'll ever stop liking starcraft inspired music.
Awesome song. This deserves every bit of praise directed to it. Plus, anything that can get Mrs. LaForge to comment again on TL is just epic as hell. Went back and read some early threads about Tasteless and there is so much doubt about him, but he has become such an integral part of the scene since those WCGs.
Thank you to the artist of the song and to Tasteless himself for his great work.

StarCraft songs are all over the place, this one just happened to use an Owl City meets Sum 41 style as opposed to the majority of the "raps" out there. The one part that I would like to give the creator credit for is the "So Many Banelings" part at the end. Well done. Inspirational.

Gets noisy and distorted at 0:26 even at 720p, when the bass starts, might be the fifth or sixth instrument. Otherwise pretty good, enjoyed it after a few listens

What? The signal clearly clips during multiple parts which is due to mediocre mixing/compression. The chorus isn't mixed/EQ'd as well as potentially could be. I'm not sure why you're calling that stylistic.
But that's not a big deal, as most people wouldn't even notice that. I like the song, and so does pretty much everyone else, so why are you flipping out over people who point out the distortion?
Comparing the FLAC to the free MP3, the static sounds A LOT better. I think maybe the issue is next time looking into how compression may affect your final product or something. I practically dont mind the static at all on the FLAC, even though I did complain about it initially when I heard the MP3 and described it as 'blown-out'

It helps if you actually read my whole comment before ranting. I guess its just my 'stylistic' choice to dislike the static. I said nowhere I disliked the song overall. I just said that the static really ruined the song it kind of works in the verse yet is too overpowering in the chorus. That is my opinion. Other people seem to like it.

The comment to do with speakers makes no sense seeing as you said before that the static was intentional.
Currently going through and tightening up every part of the song that I can. Removed most (if not all) instances of clipping, reduced the "static" on the chorus, bumped up the volume of the lyrics during the verse and fiddled around with a few settings on each channel.
I don't know how to distribute this because, obviously, there are going to be people who prefer the original version for whatever reason sooooo
Give feedback. I want to know whether this is vastly improved. If you're still having a problem with "static", there's nothing I can do for you. Now I'm off to relax. All I have to say is...

Artosis is comically similar to me my problem was nothing to do with them personally it is a completely different issue that I have not publicly spread around as I am to talk to them about it prior to leaving Korea and I did not want to bring it up during GSL casting times as it may put unnecessary stress on their careers. The issue has to do with a friend of a friend who (allegedly) didn't get credited for one of his shirt ideas on his site and they have failed to ever contact him back. That is all.

Carefoot never said anything bad about Tasteless. He was dicking around about Artosis and his friend's idea when he was somewhat casting over the GSL All-Stars series that he had as VoDs on his channel.

The lip synching was humorous, the dancing made me turn it off, and the chosen actors did not fit very well. But like I said, it had a low production value and is also a no-profit production so I probably shouldn't be complaining.

I agree with everything stated here. I'm really happy for you, really am, and I've been loving your song since the beginning, but the video did ruin it for me a little bit. And yes I DO understand this was made with little budget, but I would rather see some sexy and awkward footage of Tasteless and not (you?) and Torch bad lip synch it.
I'd have to agree that the music video wasn't that great. You have two awkward guys, Carefoot and Torch, dancing around and lip syncing while they show shots of Tasteless pretending to commentate which also is pretty awkward. Kind of weird and unappealing overall.
They should have done some kind of retrospective on the career of Tasteless and show clips of his beginning. Or maybe just clips of Tasteless and Artosis commentating previous games and whatever funny antics they've done.

The video was shown during today's GSL3 final and I found it not only very fitting, but awesome as well. For a fan project, it was well done.
I think Carefoot made quite a good job, he's not the most attractive guy around, but he's pretty expressive and he had some nice moves, at least, he knows how to move in rhythm with the music. Torch, well... not so much. I liked the video. And Tasteless is quite hot, no wonder why there is so "brotherly" love towards him.

Hm well glad I finally got to see the video but I think the song stands on it's own and the video doesn't add anything, if anything as some have suggested above in that the video is tongue-in-cheek it does detract somewhat from the feel of the song itself. (The song itself is tongue-in-cheek too of course but it's appropriately subtle. The video isn't.)

If it means anything, we all love Artosis every day of the year, so it really doesn't matter if there's no GSL on at the moment or not ^_^.

1) Homo sapiens is our species, and has nothing to do with sexuality. The lyrics were indeed Homo Sapians because they were both written and sung by the aforementioned species.
