Imagine how much better this MLG finals would have been without extended series. So bad. MLG is listening on everything else, why do they insist on keeping this crappy rule?

You should have a poll:

Regardless of fairness, is the extended series more or less exciting for viewers and hyping the finals?
That would get better results I think, because it's fair. It's just not exciting.

Extended series is so silly. Imagine if the GSL finals was between two players from the same group and they gave a 1-0 advantage to the guy who won in pool play.

The worst thing for me isn't even the unfair advantage. It's the fact that the rule can give us a 2 game grand final. Fantastic way to cheapen your own tournament by giving us 2 games. I want a true Bo7 for every final ever.

if the player with 4-2 result in group has a win vs 5-1 player or somethink like that thats pretty unfair if 4-2 players starts with 2-0

can YOU read? That doesn't say anything about why idra didn't deserve the advantage. That only brought up information relevant to the situation. If sase/stephano had gone through, idra would not have the advantage, but thats because they hadn't already lost to idra once. Plain and simple.

to make it short, if they remove extended series, they also need to make it single elimination as a result. To have, in this case, idra and boxer on equal grounds after IDRA ALREADY BEAT BOXER IN THE SAME TOURNAMET (caps lock emphasis) is unfair to IDRA. Boxer should be thankful he's not out of the damn tournament.
