meh, felt like idra could've a moved boxers main at any point once he got his ultras out and ended the game. cool to watch boxer play but i don't think he's on idras level yet, he basically lost the game prior to any real engagement because idra simply outmacroed him.

After watching this game again, I'm surprised IdrA didn't BM. Happy he didn't but surprised he didn't. Once the PF went down it was pretty much GG.

Wonder what IdrA thought when Boxer asked who he was.

Really surprised that artosis mentioned that was the first use of tanks on that middle ledge, it seems really trivial to place them there since you can divide the map in half in the end-game. Pretty cool game.

I was a bit disappointed. Boxer was not aggressive at all until it was too late. Idra was ahead the entire game and the harrassment that Boxer did late in the game was annoying, yet inconsequential considering Idra was maxed on Ultras. Artosis acted like putting tanks on the cliff was some revolutionary strategy nobody has ever thought of when it's actually pretty basic and during Boxer's first attack (which didn't happen until like 15 minutes into the game...wtf) I was thinking he should have lifted some tanks up there. I suppose he's good for the short amount of time he has played, but it really didn't seem like Boxer's style like others are saying.

Honestly not the greatest game. I thought both players let the other do what they wanted, which is fine. Don't think Idra played particularly well, but It seemed like both were feeling hte other out. Boxer basically letting Idra choose to play his ideal game then going for his harass play. Idra content to just starve boxer out.

Still it's boxer ^_^

Twas a fun game to watch! I really liked Idra's very aggressive creep spread, and i agree with artosis that it will be the future of zerg. I also really liked boxer's multi harass and drop tactics, especially dropping next to the watchtowers on the high ground, however i do think boxer's macro needs some work.

Let me guess, you were already doing this the first week of beta?

Thanks for posting this Artosis, not a huge fan of SC2 but watching Boxer is always a treat.
