The argument that they will crush competition is not in their lineage, but in the fact that they're established progamers. It has already been proven that BW skills translate over well to SC2. Idra showed us that throughout the beta. What, then, happens when BW's best (much better than Idra) make the transition? The answer is obvious. You'll start seeing many of the same old names fighting for top spots in SC2. Disregarding the fact that they're Korean, the best SC progamers are those on teams like SKT1, Fox, Oz, etc (ie not foreign teams). I do think there's plenty of room for foreigners to work, though. Just like in the beginning of BW, we'll see an influx of impressive foreign players doing just as well as the best Korean players. Whether there will be a shift over to Korean dominance like there was in BW, we have yet to see. | ||
