People talk about the 1.1 patch that will be like a god-send thing that will balance the MU's completely.
The only thing that I see is that it got harder for Protoss early game.
And in ZvT
A siege tank with +1 will always one shot lings + blings, wich are basicly the only unit affected by the change in that MU (and ye hydra's, but come on, hydra's in ZvT?).
But would be nice to hear someone good his opinion on this :p no1 thinks 1.1 will change anything.... IdrA does.... It's the logical beginning of balancing the game. Sort out the early game then we can see what happens to the midgame. On same maps Zergs will be able to go hatch first again... this is a BIG difference.

I think if we're going to have the round of 16 be all TvTs we should disallow usage of the following units:
- Marauder - Siege Tank - Battlecruisers
Would make the matchups far more fun. Imagine someone going Raven and get HSM and actually using it for the greater good.

So... when does this IEM start?

Semi-OT, but has anyone noticed how there's almost a regional divide of races right now?
EU events seems to have an overwhelming # of Terran players NA events have a very strong Protoss representation Korea has a strong zerg population (actually more myth than fact, but still)
Kinda interesting how it's developing.

Some semi-old school names on this list. Draco, GoOdy, NTT. All represented their countries in WCG Brood War in the past if i remember correctly.

- Added HasuObs to the list of players in the qualification round 1. He won the last chance qualifiers cup after beating LucifroN in the finals.
I guess the list of final now and these are the players we will be seeing in the European Championship.

SaJer is not LucifroN. He is a totally different person. Plays for team Wizard.
NightEnd lost in the first round of the qualifiers. Well who the hell are these guys and how did they get straight seeded into the finals. I've never heard of either of them and my forte on Liquipedia is knowing who players are. If they just waddled through their country's qualification and got seeded on the Back of one successful player from their country... I dunno, that doesn't sound right.
wizards.SaJeR is an old school BW spanish player who started to play Sc2 after launch, and he is doing pretty impresive lately
wizards.Ethan is the new blood of spanish rts players

Random terran scrubs with 60apm and no multitasking coming out of nowhere. + Show Spoiler +Let's keep telling ourselves there's nothing wrong with the game. There will surely be new tricks and strategies in the future to differentiate good players from bad. + Show Spoiler +And they will magically appear out of nowhere
It's true. You never see a Zerg "talent". Only DIMAGA can compete with EU Terrans because his skill level is much higher than the Terrans. It shouldn't have to be like that.

It cracks me up how P players whine about PvT. To Z players, you look like a fool.

Such a great list of players

take a look at GSL and how many of each race are out its not a proof for terran beeing imba, but actually its hard to find _any_ statistic that doesnt favor T
whether its tournament wins by race ladderranking number of t/z/p in tournaments that requires qualification and much more

Here is hoping Socke and Dimaga do well as i consider them to be the most exciting SC2 players around
|
Jesus, so many Terrans. I hope the zergs do well just to spit in the face of this overwhelming terran imbalance.
