SaJer is not LucifroN. He is a totally different person. Plays for team Wizard.
NightEnd lost in the first round of the qualifiers. Well who the hell are these guys and how did they get straight seeded into the finals. I've never heard of either of them and my forte on Liquipedia is knowing who players are. If they just waddled through their country's qualification and got seeded on the Back of one successful player from their country... I dunno, that doesn't sound right.
What do you mean by straight seeded into the finals?

They're seeded straight into the European Championships.

Right, and Spain and Romania's ranks are basically entirely held up by Lucifron and NightEnd.

Maybe it's my inability to comprehend English, but didn't they qualify for it? I'm not really following what you are wanting say with it.

Who are they? Random terran scrubs with 60apm and no multitasking coming out of nowhere.
+ Show Spoiler +Let's keep telling ourselves there's nothing wrong with the game. There will surely be new tricks and strategies in the future to differentiate good players from bad. + Show Spoiler +And they will magically appear out of nowhere

The romanian guy is playing Zerg, what now?

This is gonna be fucking boring shit. 9/12 terrans, this is getting stupid.

Yepp. I'm actually looking forward to seing a cup where there is room for say 5 of each race + 1 to make it possible.

At this point I am for strongly nerfing Terrans just so players switch back to other races and we can watch some more interesting tournaments. Do not even care about balance, just give us back all kind of MU during tournaments, not mostly TvT or TvP or TvZ in all games.
|
Watching only TvX over and over in every tournament is getting really boring, really fast.
|
The influx of terran is so unattractive XD
Good luck to all the players, I'm rooting for dimaga let's go zerg!.
Edit: hope lalush doesn't get banned for his post

Unfortunately I don't exactly know how ESL does their seeding for SC2 but they have a ranking to decide that. http://www.esl-world.net/masters/country_ranking_season_5/
Seems a pretty random way of allocating player spots considering its a 1v1 game.. maybe if it was an international team pro-league or something that would work out ok, but as everyone is playing for themselves and country makes no difference in this I can't figure at all why that's the way they do it.

Nice post !
Seems like you have forgotten iD.TuZeR (french terran) in QR1 though.
|
The worst part is that the 1.1 wont address any heavy improvement in TvsXXX matches, so we are gonna be stuck for at least another month suffering borings TvsX tournaments.
And I really dislike the idea of heavy nerf terran and remove valid strategies, cause then terran will be bored to play aswell.
For example, most of the games you see Bioball whole time, if they nerf tanks, then it will be more strange to see mech games.
|
gonna watch all the games where a Z or a P is still in the tourney and playing matches...
after that there is nothing more to see. esl / blizzard can go figure what went wrong
thats so sad actually...
PS: congratz Ts now you all can have your most hated matchup TvTs all the way lol. everyone hates to play vs T even Ts themselves lmao.
|
It kinda feels to me when I'm playing that ZvT is balanced... except that what I'm doing is 10x harder and that I'll never be able to beat a terran of equal skill.
I think this is the problem.
edit: Oh ya, GOGO DIMAGA!

The race distribution is funny and sad at the same time. As I've said before, blizzard would hit with their heads on the walls until they fixed imbalances, mainly to do with terran. Let's see how much head beating they will do until they decide to fix them.
