Looks like Select's chances of getting an invite to the blizzcon tournament is looking good, I think he's been in their #1 list for three straight weeks.

Probably almost every player in the top 200 has an account on tl.net. I also feel less bad about losing a PvZ to kOre now, lol. Not that kOre is bad, I just hate losing PvZ.

He actually started out in gold, hardly played for week, became platinum on September 2 rising up to 1400+ points in that league before being promoted to diamond on September 3. I love the disclaimer:
The top 200 1v1 players are determined across divisions by comparing their relative rankings and skill, while meeting certain requirements, such as ensuring that they're active.
Hilarious considering Idra is inactive on the NA server and yet he still somehow makes the list with the exact same record as the last two top-200's. Not to mention the fact that the internal ranking system is obviously different from the one the players see. Seems to me like their algorithms need work.

i was #1 with 1596 points 2 days ago, but been having a bad couple days and dropped over 120 points
the ladder's......frustrating..to say the least. I can safely bet that most of the players I face are going to do some sort of 1 base cheesy 'pray this wins' builds

Yea I had 1200 pts really early on, i dropped 100 pts and it took me 2 weeks to remake it almost.
edit: you should put jf just won wcg, me and him couldn't ladder as much cause of that weekend.

Attero, Zerker, Moo are on vT gaming. All top 200 and Attero is a popular streaming. Moo is a good terran who has beaten idra a couple times knocking him out of tournys. I'm just some scrub zerg that loses to terran all day long though =0

Terrans do not lose macro games to zerg. It's pretty even if zerg can manage to not die to a midgame timing push and if they can get a 3rd up.

you know it's not all because zerg are weaker? it's also the fact that there a a lot more terran players than zerg players. if 55% of the population play terran 35% play protoss and 10% play zerg than id say the ratings look pretty damn good. of course i doubt that is the current status as their are a few needed buffs and/or nerfs.

Definitely true. According to sc2ranks there are ~24% zerg in diamond league and I counted ~25% in EU top 200 which is pretty damn close. It's hardly a surprise to see so few zergs in the top. Unfortunately low population generally means slower development which is gonna hurt zerg even more.
