Out of the active members, yeah, but liquid is a team back from like... 2001 or 2000. Nony joined when he went to eSTRO I think, in late 08?

Idra will have to stay in Korea hes in the GSL
|
imho it makes sense for both sides: eg is a financially potent team and they can provide idra a good salary which easily covers his costs of living over there in korea. in return they got one of the top sc2 players, which provides three things: first of all, he has a high chance to win tournaments which is always great for a team/the sponsors. secondly, he has a good reputation in terms of skill and ability (not so much when it comes to manners XD"), so if they want to build a high-calibre sc2 team, they got a good argument and the prospect of an attractive practice partner for the highclass pros who might join their sc2 squad in the future. and the third point is that by having an appartment over their in seoul, team eg has a place to stay while their members compete in korean competitions, which idra keeps monitored during the times of the year where the other guys from eg are not in korea. maybe they will eventually sign more top players who will also live in korea, so that idra is just the first guy in their new teamhouse over there.

Cool, so now Idra has realized that he can make more money swindling his own fan base with "gosu camp" or "gosu coaching" than he can by actually trying. I've honestly lost all respect for EG in the last year.
I'm sure any team in the world would want to pick him up for sc2. Are there no korean teams he could go to where his skill would actually be built?

i think korean teams are reluctant to sign him as he doesnt speak their language. its a huge setback if u cant discuss strategies with ur teammates.

Well see unlike CJ I doubt EG has alot of money to pay for his travel fees

I personally can say that I would have absolutely no problem paying Idra for gosucoaching lessons :p Nothing against the coaches of gosucoaching, its just the only Zergs I would want to learn from are Idra and Sen just cause I feel like I would learn the most from them.

Idea in eg? I wouldve atleast go with OGs and TL woulve been a better decision because they are In Korea with the gal and none of the eg players are and I think it'd be better to practice with ogs players since they are one of the best Korean players out tere. Correct me if I'm wrong Though

IdrA has been practicing w/ TLO actually... I don't see why joining EG would limit who he can practice with anyways though...

LOL where do you people come up with this stuff? O idra called Lz a cheesy fag they must not get along, yet Lz always mentions on his stream when people talk about Idra, how Greg is actually a very nice guy and people take what he says in his games too seriously. You're one of the few people on TL that I would trust as a source in this thread, you heard anything? Funny thing, I think everyone on TL has some perception that every player on a Team EG, a Team fnatic, SK Gaming, etc. all are salaried players. You'd really be surprised, especially for a new division like the SSF4 division, I wouldn't be surprised if jwong, marn and rickyortiz aren't salaried but get paid the transportation and hotels and stuff to go to events all across the country. That doesn't mean they're getting salaried though. On September 05 2010 03:05 Xeris wrote: Lol @ someone saying Nony is the co-founder of Liquid ..
LOL! Basically summarizes about 98% of the posters so far
ALL THIS wont matter though as long as iNcontroL types some gibberish though, obviously.
