I think Shark came up with it, but July made it essential

well he was in china and thats why he couldnt physically play the gsl. But from a players standpoint hes still contracted to kespa and stx yeah?? And being a legendary icon like nada he prolly still gets quite a tidy salary as well, unless those slumping years really hit his value hard. As such no reason to play sc2 on tv and risk his contract being torn.

As such im really doubting hes going to compete in the gsl which is a shame.

Theres already some previous threads here on TL about FantaPrime / JulyZerg moving into Starcraft 2. Also i noticed some comments on a Hong Kong forum aswell as in a Korean forum stating that it is JulyZerg.

About the accent, keep in mind that english is not my native language so i have my limitations and im the 1st to recognize them. But i do try

Even if you have a strong accent, your grammar and fluency are actually very good

That game was quite impressive. I'll be looking up more of his reps when I get home.
On my way...

If FantaPrime is really him (and I think it probably is), he's played around 800 games. Doesn't sound like a bit of messing around

That's like 10 days of games for a professional though, in a couple of months of release (or whatever it's been.)

Clearly you're not a native speaker, but anyone can understand you without problems. Your English is nearly perfect.

Thank you, im actuallky quite excited to see some of the oldschool BroodWar references taking a shot at Starcraft 2 and it seems more are considering jumping into the SC2 bandwagon wich i find very promissing.

After NaDa and JulyZerg i wonder who will be next popping on some showmatch or something

This.

And again my comment about your accent was not meant to be negative.

July was the king of muta control before ov stacking.
He frequently praises himself for being the zerg to beat a terran in the OSL finals (v GoodFriend, what happened to him?) before the muta stacking was discovered/invented.

If anything Yellow was famous for sucking even with the muta stacking. But I think Shark really deserves the full credit for both discovery and making it essential.

July has his lurkers tanking zergling damaging thing and muta stacking using minerals.

And in that thread, someone asked Prime's manager or who the hell runs the team, is he the real deal. Confirmed that he was.

And afaik, FantaPrime didn't try to qualify to GSL. So why wouldn't he if he really isn't July?

July was in China at that time.
