Why the sad face? It's not like Blizzard put a gun to his head and told him to play SC2.
it's sad that we'll never see him play BW again. I really dont care about SC2 at all
he might as well be playing war3 or poker to me
Well if that's your attitude, then you're not his real fan. If they terminate his contract, what can he do? It's not like he can keep playing BW without salary. At least if he's any good in SC2, his fans could still see him.

watching boxer play poker is still just watching poker.
Well, i think theres already plenty of people / facts stating he his JulyZerg and i dont have any reason to doubt it, specially when confirmation comes from Team Managers who sits by his side most of the day while Team Prime practices.
On another note, big BroodWar reference players, even retired ones, showing up to play some SC2 cant be bad and i see it a lot more as way of promoting the game and bring part of the BroodWar community to have a go at the game.
I mean, ofc transitioning from BW to SC2 might not be as easy as we all desire but its still an effort that seems worthy to me and will payback in the future. So all this BW pro gamers showing up to play are just making that transition process smoother and showing us all that even the best of the best from BW find SC2 appealing in some way.

I dont think you guys wanted to miss this match so here it is, straight from the Gisado "King of the Hill" tournament (thank you Gisado for all the hard work):
[Korean Pros] oGssSKS -Tester- (P) VS FantaPrime -JulyZerg- (Z) Part 1

I actually enjoyed the match A LOT, not only for the approprieate use of DT's but also for being able to see how far JulyZerg has advanced on his SC2 playstyle and strategies...great game imo.
No this is real guys, there has been already like 3 articles posted about JulyZerg switching to SC2 because he wasn't getting any more play time in BroodWar. His contract ended and he didn't resign because it was pointless. This is his confirmed name.

I think hes just a bit "rusty" and obviously need more practice in SC2. He lost focus on that big final battle, ended up leaving an very important unit on the back and payed for it.
Was still quite awesome to see him facing tester and the match was never one-sided so i forsee good things coming out of JulyZerg in the future.
