In fact, I have no idea how anyone would learn about the GSL if TL didn't tell us about it. Other sites just steal news from TL when it comes to Korean events.

Why would China ban chinese from watching korean e-sports? Then again they did block blizzard's World of Warcraft ip for months...

Unless GOM comes out and states why the quality is so bad we don't know if it's a money issue or not. Didn't Blizzard partner up with GOM to kill off Kespa? In that type of situation you should be prepared to invest enough start up money to make sure it succeeds. If you have a reasonably good system the VODs are really just painful to watch right now.

"irregardless" isn't a word. And it's a catch-22. The stream won't get better quality without more viewers, and it won't get more viewers until it's better quality. Also, I'm not sure why the VOD quality is so bad. They should be able to show those at Korean HD quality no problem (aha, but they use GOMPlayer instead of allowing downloads!)

They register the hits, and see that their capacities are at the limit. And i'd only wish the VODs were better quality. Seems worse than the HQ stream.

It's also very light. For example, I actually can't watch Day9 dailies live without major difficulties, because they are so heavy on traffic and cpu lately, with this hd quality.

We don't know that the VOD problem is a bandwidth issue. It could be an encoding issue. The VOD quality is incredibly poor, I can't read a single number on the screen. Since the VODs don't have to be hosted in Korea they should be higher quality than the stream, not lower quality.
