Contrary to what many posts including the OP are calling "significant". Is it as significant as sangho switching over, or intotherainbow? I doubt it. The impression that some "ex-progamers" are switching to sc2 because sc1 required too much skill/commitment, must already have been made on koreans, and i doubt this + Show Spoiler + MBCGame Zero | ||

Um, isn't it true that even the worst Korean pro gamers annihilate the vast majority of foreign players in BW? Though I find this news less exciting than the Nada vs TLO showmatch (and its consequence drama,) to call this event trivial is pretty near-sighted. At the very least, it shows that Korean pros can and will switch over given the right circumstances. | ||

a) Sucked too much to be given a chance play broadcasted Sc1 games (JulyZerg) b) Had a mediocre brood war career so they switched over to make a name for themselves (theSTC, Tester, and now Iron). With no offense to the man, I don't really see this as too significant. He switched to SC2 because his BW career more or less tanked. I remember he was pretty far down in the in house rankings | ||

I know July, Tester, TheSTC, IntotheRainbow, Iron, Cool, Junwi. Any that I am missing? | ||
