I'm not sure if you are confused, or you actually wouldn't consider the possibility of typing "g". Of course there is also the possibility that you have never replied "gg" and therefore never realized that the screen doesn't show up while typing "gg"?

When you Press F10 and look at the options - it will either say "Surrender" or "Score Screen" Don't click it if its the former ![]()

if that happends then it will be 1 g not 2g's , if you tried to hit GG and the menue popped up in the process, then the outcome wil just be 1 g because the second g was used to "return to game" command. so theres no denying stupidity when you fall for this. but hey we can all be pretty stupid sometiems cna'twe ![]()

Therefore if I play a newb that wants to chat after GG (typical placement match), I simply keep map control with decetion and macro a little. If someone GGs and does not talk I just keep attacking and add detection, as these are often protoss waiting for their dark shrines. Kill or unpower the dark shrine and he/she leaves (or types "has left the game" :p) Basically, if you are unsure, add safety through map control and detection, and hit F10 and then if possible select the correct option with your mouse. If you alt-tab don't complain :p

1. Replace the "G" hotkey with "R" for example. 2. Filter the phrase "has left the game!"

That's just epic, lol. | ||
