Arguing about balance =/= hating someone. Lies! They disagree about something, they hate each other and will take it outside in a fist fight next time they meet.

this is the greatest discussion ever

hes confusing himself while hes talking right now i can tell.

day9 bringing out that college education :D

Maybe if zergs literally lost 70%+ of their games I might agree there is a major imbalance.
Is it harder for zerg? Atm yes. Is the game broken? No. Every race can win any given game on a fair map.

I'm wondering how long it's going to take JP to crack open a bottle of champagne to celebrate the viewers IdrA vs. Day[9] will be pulling in

No sir, I wouldn't say I was If the points are invalid, why resort to personal attacks? As a person supposedly learned in debate, I'd think you would know the best way to argue against a point is to actually make your own.

Day[9] isn't arguing straight up, he is dodging, and when he does argue, Idra crushes him with examples and facts.
Day[9] needs to argue with examples and facts.

fucking A that guy is annoying, respect for his BW accomplishments and bringing sc2 esports up but he doesn't know shit A+ troll. Haven't seen this much ignorance in one post in a longgg time. not trolling, anyone who trolls randoms on forums in the year 2011 is a fucking idiot and half a decade late to the "party." i'm just expressing my absolutely rational loathing for day9 because of how confidently he believes in his "beliefs" regarding balance/etc. despite probably playing <20 1v1s in the last 6 months. -_- e- unless i'm mistaken and day9 released his ladder stats/rank.
So you know exactly how much he plays? Do you have his ladder account in your hands?

I cant help but think this is going on for the views haha, nothing will get more internet spam than a "day9 vs idra on balance arguement", either way this is brilliant. best episode ever.

Day 9 PLEASE invite Idra for a Day9 Daily week where you discuss Zerg vs T/P/Z where the two of you will work together towards addressing Idra's issues of balance and looking for solutions from the zerg point of view.

Yeah, it feels like a bunch of sophistry so far. And normally I am a Day9 fan :/.

Day[9] needs to argue with examples and facts.
Day9 keep bring up statistics and results but it keeps getting ignored by IdrA by saying "oh that game does not count. Oh that's because i'm so much better. "

The discussion IdrA and Day[9] are having about Zerg being underpowered is pretty good, I think. IdrA sounds so direct and rational and I feel like Day[9] is just sort of fillerbustering/talking in vague generalities/trollin
|
day9 and idra have very different approaches. i think day9 is mainly looking at it from a spectator's perspective (imbalance is a negative thing that would detract potential viewers or new players) whereas idra is looking at it from a pro's perspective (getting rid of imbalance is his livelihood).
maybe i'm wrong, but that's the way i see it right now. both views have merits
|
why won't day9 accept the fact that zerg plays blind? idra is pointing out SPECIFICALLY (marine perimeters etc.) and day9 is just saying "EH EVERYONE SAYS THAT BUT I CANT GIVE SPECIFICS"
