That would be pretty sick considering I want to know about MSL more but I don't know anything about it so it's hard to get into it.

After MLG I'm sure that there are a lot of people out there who would like to be his fans, but if he's going to continue to be BMiwa, maybe not so much. However, the fact that he was not given a loss means that he doesn't have full culpability.
So, what really happened? I'm not really sure what happened, but to kick off the speculation I can say what I think the crux of the situation was. I repeat, I'm speculating here. I could even have facts wrong where facts are widely known Naniwa wanted to postpone his match so that he could recover from traveling. NASL was ok with it. But then Naniwa played ladder games when he could have been playing his NASL match, and NASL wasn't ok with that. If that's what happened, then I'm kinda leaning toward being on Naniwa's side here. You obviously don't want to play an important match after just coming back from a tournament. So you delay it as long as possible. So let's say you delay it 24 hours. What do you do during those 24 hours to ensure your best performance possible? Some of it is gonna be practicing. Hell, a lot of it might be practicing. In fact, not practicing at all during those 24 hours is one of the worst things you can do. If anyone can summarize all the known facts, please do so! Yea, that's what I was thinking lol. After sleep you'd think the best thing right before playing is to warm up with a few casual ladder games. He didn't ask for a hour or two to warm up. He asked for a few hours to SLEEP. This was granted. He did not sleep, but decided to ladder. He LIED That's the end of the story. He lied to the officials in a tournament, it doesn't matter what the circumstances were.
For one, Naniwa is not a native English speaker. Second, it is unclear whether communication was even happening directly between Naniwa and NASL. Saying he "lied" implies malicious intent to deceive, which iNcontroL already posted in this thread that it wasn't.

MSL Group D!
This group is crazy shit!

|
No current BW talk please. Analogies and old stories from the pillars is fine, but for topical discussion, I like my SotG to be about SC2 only.
|
Please no BW :|
But I'm pretty confidend that JP won't let that happen and would just end the podcast instead, lol :D

I'm not even sure how much the hosts even follow BW any more but it'd be awesome if they mentioned it, group D is going to be brutal.

Can't wait for todays episode! Couple more hours left.

When, like last week, none of the guest have seen any important match of the week (last week none seen anything and couldn't talk about any game ><), they should talk about....the state of the game. New builds, new trends, playstyles...I really liked the discussion about MC, pillars please, don't be stopped by fanboys who will post hate when you talk about the players, keep doing it and analyzing it. (and please watch some more games :p I'm pretty sure none of the pillars have watched the GSL today or yesterday, so don't dream about them talking about it )

grats on finally being in the upcoming events calendar lol

I would like their take on the group as well, it would be cool.
Although I think it would be a 5 second "yeah it will be sick, 1 sick player will be eliminated"

And I don't think that JP ended the podcast because of BW talk, haha. More BW talk, please! An entire episode dedicated to nostalgia would be sick, and even some throwback Nony v Idra matches for fun. ^^

It really seemed like JP was really annoyed by the BW talk and that's why he cut them off early and did that abrupt ending.
|
hm actually a good point.
It would be fun ofcourse if they talked very shortly about the MSL group. But I mean in the end, their audience is the people that play starcraft 2, and I don't really know what they would say except for "sick group, gonna be amazing".
So if they don't mention it or talk about it, I wouldn't be to upset about it.

I thought he got annoyed after the pillars struggled to make it through the early portion of the episode. The BW talk seemed like the only time that they were engaged in the conversation.

So I checkEd out group D of MSL and holy smokes that group is freaking stacked! They should def talk about it, or at the very least make some predictions.
