Make hatch inside your base, near your choke, cancel it and make a sunken on the creep it makes. But yeah .. a bit behind i guess A bit behind? lol 75 gold loss for canceling hatchery 150 + mining time lost for drone creating spine crawler Late 2nd hatchery making, hurting economy, and making 4 gate significantly stronger because creep is delayed from spreading to defend with spines. Lots of larva spawning time lost. The best way to defend it is definitely to take 1 drone off to chase probe and a 2nd to patrol at bottom of ramp to prevent pylons from building. Protoss loses 350 gold, which I don't think is nearly as significant as not having that extra hatchery up.

I could of thrown to him more but he wasn't that comfortable talking about a lot of the eSport things we did.

Yeah, I was surprised at how quiet he was. His casting personality gives the impression that he isn't.. that shy? Oh well, I guess it might be a bit intimidating. He's a new and upcoming (relatively new anyway) caster and he's supposed to talk eSports with some of the most established names in the scene. Whoever said he was too humble wasn't far off the mark, even Cluck talked more in his first SotG. But then again we can thank Psy for the "Who's Artosis" story Incontrol provided, which had me laughing out loud throughout. I'm wondering though, will every SotG be so focused on the GSL? It's interesting, especially when someone like IdrA is about but personally I'd prefer to listen to opinions of the patch notes more in depth and the GSL in a more general sense. Just nitpicking though, but I personally would've liked to hear more about the tank change (for example) on the metagame rather than what everyone thinks about every GSL game. Also wasn't much of a fan of the lightning round. It felt a bit forced to be honest. On the other hand I'd love to see IdrA make a return, all his nerdrage aside he's definitely interesting to listen to. Seemed he spent more time explaining why he thinks certain things are unbalanced rather than saying "Nope, it's impossible to beat blabla", contrast to another zerg player that's been on the cast a few times ![]() I might be sounding a bit too negative, just posting some personal gripes. I'm really enjoying the SotG, hell there's not one I haven't enjoyed. great that we're seeing them every week as well, and they have definitely improved a lot from the beta (not that they were bad in the beta, far from it). Keep the good work up, I never thought I'd be listening to/following any podcast but then SotG came about. Definitely looking forward to next week.

1) Too many people, theres trouble enough at times with 4 to hear everyone on skype, especially during arguments, so keeping it to 4 is probably the best. 2) The lightning round didnt work too well, good idea, not sure its really working for an sc2 podcast 3) Psy was quiet, but i think alot of that was due to having 6 people in at the end, he was a good guest 4) Idra was a really good guest, very informative 5) Im not so sure the ranking reading each week needs to detail the top10 of every country, it seems theres not huge amounts of movement and it also seems that you guys collectively agree the ranking system is kind of a joke, so its hard to really give great analysis on it. 6) The user questions spark the best debate, i find at least, i had a few questions answered :D but it wasnt how good my questions were that sparked the debate, it was just a new and interesting topic to discuss which bled into other things and other points of discussion. Those points shouldnt detract from that fact that it was still a very very interesting show :D

I asked if we should do the top 200 still before the cast and the consensus was yes, but might make it a monthly thing. I do like the banter between NonY and iNcontrol (and now that we have a bet) regarding ladder placement. The patch notes were discussed in a previous episode so that is why we did not cover them again. User questions are great! Please keep them coming!

No offense to Psy, but you could have replaced him with a brick wall and it would have made absolutely no difference to the podcast. Fun fact: I was actually constructing a brick wall in Minecraft while representing a brick wall in the podcast! I'm artistic like that.

Oh dont not do the top 200 :D just theres no real need to read out every league from every server, sure discuss some of the bigger things but it seems odd to give so much credence to a top10 when as you all seem to agree, its not really worth anything.

Ya I think a monthly 200 would be a good idea instead of going through the entire top 200 for every territory. Instead, just compare the one or two that jump out....like 'Tyler...and have him and Incontrol go at it. Or if someone like Qxc just plays 1000 games and jumps into 1st place all of a sudden. I think the blank reading of the lists are a little slow compared to the rest of the podcast. Not that its bad, just a little slow. Looking really forward to TLO, really liked him in the beta SotGs.

A lot of what makes a podcast is the personality and what makes personality is familiarity within the podcasting group. You need to be familiar and respectful of each other enough to do things like make fun of artosis and harp on Nony. So if a new guest just jumps in, that guest needs to have the manhood to put it on the line and jump in with his thoughts. If not, he just ends up disappearing into the background, cause Day9 and Incontrol are big personalities and those two can drown a fish (tho I <3 Day9 and Incontrol). Finally I think it should be 1 new guest at a time. That way you can taylor the podcast to be about that guest, to help give him more air time. (ie, a tournament he just played or a build that he came up with, etc) Also I do agree with an earlier post that the group is getting a little big. Having a new guest every week may be stretching things a little thin. Trying to give everyone time with a 5/6 man group is really difficult. An occasional guest here and there is great and exciting (especially if its not announced imo), but for a regular weekly podcast, I think having a regular group is better for the long run. And with the number of forum drama and tournaments going on right now, there's plenty of things to talk about. Keep up the good work!

I totally agree with this guy. Psy was just a huge disappointment in general. He was basically a no show, knowing almost nothing about the GSL and E-Sports in general. IdrA was great, I hope you guys can get him on more often. Day[9] laughs like a girly girl too often for me to take him seriously on the podcast. The dude must be hopped up on nitrous or something. The podcast was entertaining as usually though. Thanks for all the work JP and I'm looking forward to the next cast.
